What's worse than shooting less than 20% in a full game while obtaining a near 1-20 assist to turnover ratio? Reading Michigan basketball open threads. I'm not sure how some of you guys peacefully go to sleep at night. Geez. Terrible game, but the previous two were anything but. We just lost to South Carolina, not some bottom feeder that Indiana just lost to. And we still only gave up 61 points. I'm not worried about this season. Now it's time to take a shower.

First off I would like to say J. Beilein has been a great coach for Michigan. I don't understand the favoritism of certain players he has though or what seems to look that way. Z. Irvin does have decent night's but when he is off his game he is terrible! It's obvious when he is off but keeps him on the floor anyways. Yes he scores 15 points or so every no and but he plays alot of minutes. He should of made a change and let D.Robinson play more tonight! Yes he made a couple of bad plays on defense but he was the only guy that could of brought us back with 3's. I don't understand what the thinking is sometimes and really frustrating when we should of beat a team that is obviously not that good. Let's start identifying who is off a little earlier in the game and send in others to who might help us instead of riding a guy out even though he is off.

This may be the worst take I have ever read. Irvin is your senior leader and must be on the floor especially when you are down. D. Robinson looked horrible and plays horrible defense. Team had an off shooting night, it happens. Coach knows what he is doing.

Zack has alot of off shooting nights and continues to put up shots when he is cold.I have watched every game that he has played and constantly turns the ball over trying to dribble threw traffic and make bone headed passes. He is a shooting guard . Leave the driving to the rim for Maar.I also think Robinson is a rhythm guy and to get into that you need to be on the floor and get some looks. He is no worse then Icon on defense either......

wasn't ready for the physicality around the perimeter.  That was a good pre-conference wake-up.  Some nights shots don't fall and you get pushed around.

Irvin was a better 3 point shooter during his high school senior year, even though he shoots the ball way too low and away from his body. I hope he gets his degree because he sure isn't going to make it in any level of the pro's.
