The numbers look weird but as I mentioned...a bunch of guys wear short shorts. Look at what LeBron and D-Wade wear at practice. It's either those sweatpants shorts or short shorts. The jersey cut is the same as all of the elite Nike schools. Look at UK and Duke from last year...what is that kids name, Grayson Allen? Same thing.

About as sloppy as you'd expect for an opening exhibition with the rotation not yet set.  We could pretty much get whatever shot we wanted but didn't shoot well from three.  Robinson was stone cold.

We definitely look more physically mature overall than last season - a lot of guys have put in their time in the weight room.  Wagner is one, and he was also able to stay on the floor an extended time without fouling, albeit against a small opponent.  Wilson also looked a lot more comfortable out there.  And Teske/Davis are big kids - they can clog up the middle.  I can see why Doyle decided to transfer.

Simpson had a rather quiet debut, looking like a guy still finding his role and willing to defer.  Walton and Irvin were the floor leaders, as you'd expect.  Irvin wasn't bashful about putting it up but wasn't really feeling it.

Overall, it's hard to draw too many conclusions but it feels like the ingredients could be there for a pretty good season.  Stay tuned.
