Should they have gone for it there? Yeah, you're down 18 but 4th and 7 on your own side of the field with 12:00 to go . . . I don't know.

This is actually a legit spot to go for it. Still a three score game if you get a field goal, but a TD puts it away.
Ugh.

Wait a second....Texas is ranked 11? Da fuq? How?

Still are, sort of. Interested to see how far they drop. Does Louisville pass us?
I wouldn't be upset if they did. Doesn't matter anyway.

Oh, well, I totally agree here. FSU looks very shaky.

go all the way up to #2 in the country but OSU is blowing the doors off Oklahoma so OSU gets #2 spot.
Top 3:
1. Bama
2. OSU
3. Louisville

FSU won 10 games last year! Texas won 5...and won 6 the year before that.

Early season rankings are almost exclusively based on the performance of the season prior. 11 is INSANELY HIGH for a team that slumped to a 5-7 season the year before. They shouldn't have been ranked at all coming into this season. Come on don't be obtuse.
Edit: They weren't ranked coming into this season. They went from unranked to 11 with one 3 point 2-OT win over ND. That's absurd any way you slice it.

Normally even when an unranked team narrowly beats a top 10 team, they enter the top 25 maybe top 20. Vaulting them to 11 after that one win is...premature and abnormal based on my time watching/obsessing over CFB. And it's not even like they dominated ND either. That's what is ridiculous to me. If they had any momentum at all coming out of last season, I could maybe justify it, but they've been a tire fire for years talent or not. Also the B12 sucks ass.

Yardage even in the OSU game, and they're winning by 21. Too many mistakes by OU.

Texas is losing to Cal. So maybe Notre Dame is trash.
September 18th, 2016 at 12:37 AM ^
Maybe. Perhaps I was a little bit optimistic about the Big 12 in my earlier playoff analysis--the whole conference might be eliminated by October. If Texas loses here...

Good to see Texas is still as bad as I thought. In a dog fight with Cal. lol

Arizona 47-21 against Hawaii who is in the redzone now.

Cal TD. Up 50-43 over Texas late in the 4th. Texas' defense is soooo bad
September 18th, 2016 at 2:33 AM ^
Cal over Texas. Nice... Notre Dame is really bad, guys.

Dumbass dropping the ball at the one yard line
September 18th, 2016 at 2:37 AM ^
I don't understand how players continue to do this time and time again. It cannot be hard to teach players to just hold onto the ball until handing the ball to the ref or just setting it down in the endzone. Cal wins anyways but damn.
