Okay, I'll be that guy: I really like Viramontes and wish he'd stayed with Michigan but I've got to think he's going to go with Cal. He's going to start there, get a ton of exposure and live in a warm sunny place that's close to home. I think he's going to be their Tebow but better (/Fred Jackson'd).

But who knows, this year has been so crazy. I've also heard some rumors of another grad transfer not yet mentioned on the board, but have no idea how there is space to take him.

This maybe a case of waiting to see what the numbers look like when the smoke clears. Cal will take him anyway. If he's willing to be something other than a QB (maybe used near the end zone) it could be a great fit.
