Next year there will not be a single player on the roster that will be able to put the ball on the floor and create his own shot. After watching the game today, I think we can confidently say if Manny leaves next year we are screwed. Tim Hardaway will be just another above average shooter. Unforunately the nasty cross-over dribble skips a generation in the Hardaway family. Smotrycz will be good. Hopefully we will be able to build around him. Morgan and McLimans are ho hum 3 stars that you can pick up off the shelves at Wal-Mart. Hardly adequate replacements for Peedi. We simply don't have the players to compete with the upper echelon of the big ten.

The silver lining is that if Manny begs forgiveness he'll be fresh for state. The impending category 5 hurricane is that if Beilein whiffs on Zeigler this team will be a full on joke next year and for the forseeable future.

One player out and the system has us down by 30. If the system is ok, then where is the talent? We are still years away from being consistent. More recruits = more years to develop. Who's in the Olympics from UM. Not much else to watch. Maybe the hockey team can get into the dance ... on ice that is.

Stu needs to just shoot and stop dribbling into no man's land whilst throwing it away. Although his shot at this point is a turnover, I'd rather see him jacking up 25 ft'ers than dribbling and losing it on the drive or throwing it away. Stu gives UM a 17% better chance of scoring by shooting it than trying to pass or dribbling.
