Loss to UM drives Calhoun to Take Health Leave??
He seemed fine until we beat them. Was it the uncalled-for court-rushing?

and became ill when he figured it not possible for him to do the same with his lettuce.

It must have been something AA put in the water

Adrian Arrington was a B-Ball saboteur. Good to have him on our side.

It's called "pulling a Meyer"! He must not want to lose any recruits that were looking at UConn.

That's what she said.

No, that's what Tebow said!

After the Army game, I wonder when Sharriff will have his story turned into a movie? Bake sale to Meyer's pet.... can't wait!

Jim Calhoun looks almost as bad as Frank Beamer....almost.

Maybe he imagined what it would be like for 110,000+ football fans would look like rushing the field after the UConn Football game this fall and pooped his pants. Now he is embarassed to coach his team = medical leave.

Say what you will, but this guy won't be down for long. I for one hope it is nothing too serious.

Call me up-tight, can't take a joke, etc. But I don't think Calhoun's medical leave should be fodder for one-liners about our win or accusations that he is faking. I doubt he would take a break if it was not somewhat serious. If it is serious, it is not funny. I hope he is ok and returns to full health soon. I think he's a great coach.

and I hope it's nothing serious and he's back soon. That said, I truly enjoyed watching his temper tantrums on Sunday. Also, in my humble and ignorant epinion, he just doesn't seem like a pleasant guy.

or even really remotely insulting was said. To the victors go the spoils. (pun intended)

watching the game that Calhoun seemed to look thinner. He's had a history of skin cancer (a pretty serious form if I remember correctly) and I hope that is not the cause of his leave.
January 19th, 2010 at 6:30 PM ^
He looked bad, I just thought he was miserable with his team's play. Hope he's okay.

This is just how powerful John Beilein is.

from where I was sitting, it looked like the thing that got hi most was when Novak put back an offensive rebound -- which happened twice.
