HOO RAY!!!

First home series since 1/9-10 when Michigan swept Minnesota.

Michigan is in their home uniforms for the first time in 90 days. 11/28 vs RPI was the last time Michigan played in their home whites.

What more can you really say about this series? Michigan must win both games. Not tie, not shootout win.

Win. 3 points tonight, and 3 points tomorrow afternoon.

Or else.

Puck drop: 7:35pm

We got a lucky goal tonight to get the board first. Sometimes better to be lucky than good.  We started out slow and got stronger asa the game went.  We had a lot of chances where we did not convert.  Racine had some good saves but for the most part wiscy wasn't in it.  Yost was reasonably full but not packed and students are on break.  The pep band was there and COY was reasonably full but a lot of people there who are not regulars.  No Harbaugh.  No Denard.  No Big Sean.

Minnesota splitting with FYS and OSU beating PSU means a win tomorrow vs Wisconsin puts us in sole posession of 1st place in the BTHC with four (tough) games to go

I really want to make the tournament, but getting to hang that inital Big Ten banner would be great too. (I'm guessing the Big Ten teams aren't planning on actually recognizing the old 60's titles anytime soon so 2015 would then be our "first")

Duluth is 5th in the NCHC but third in the pairwise. Third! It almost seems like the pairwise is broken here because literally 6 of 8 teams are in right now including 15-15-1 SCSU

I doubt a single league has ever gotten 6 teams in. That would be bananas.
