Iowa Commit RB Karan Higdon To Announce 8 AM Tomorrow

Submitted by alum96 on

I can only post 1 tweet in an OP for some reason so I'll post others in the 1st reponse but Iowa's version of Lorenz seems to be a bit worried he flips.  I noticed Higdon's HS coach has also gone silent since the visit.  I think we all assumed it was a no but maybe there is some chance here - we'll know first thing in the morning but it doesn't appear 100% Iowa at this point.

247 page for reference.

#Hawkeyes RB commit Karan Higdon just texted me, said he'll be making a decision tomorrow at 8am. Visited #Michigan this weekend.

I thought people said he basically reconfirmed to Iowa right after his visit to us?   So i thought he was off the board.  But i agree that it is strange that all the recruits that are already verbally committed are doing announcements lately.   Why would you announce if you're already committed?

Tomorrow can't get here soon enough, good thing I'm on the west coast time zone, at least that's 3 hours earlier in the day for me than most folks, uff da! Yes I loved the show "Fargo"!

Unrelated... also how many friggin spots does UCLA have in this class.  It's getting Tennessee like.

This would be a GREAT pickup. His senior film on hudl is terrific. He looks like a smart player with Hart-like scrappiness.

If we've reached the point where committed recruits have announcements to affirm their commitment ... well, then I don't know what to say.

But the more astonishing thing is why anyone would want to play at Iowa.  Iowa football is like a hot dog with nothing on it ... yeah, it's okay, but just okay.

What is the deal with announcements when you've already announced that you're committed to a school. This seems to be the newest trend this year in this whole escalating ridiculous system of recruitment. It's pretty obnoxious.
