"We're not going to have a quarterback Saturday"
Martin said today that he went down to practice this morning and to talk to RichRod about Saturday. He then went on to say,"We're not going to have a quarterback Saturday," then mumbled, shook his head, and cursed the football gods. I assume Threet isn't getting over his concussion, and it is indeed Sheridan [Feagin?] who will play QB.
Saturday will be an absolute joy.

Then at least try to be somewhat accurate? I highly, highly, FUCKING STRONGLY doubt that Bill Martin would speak so negatively about our football team, specifically the QBs. I can believe him saying, "we're not going to have Threet for Saturday". I cannot even begin to imagine Bill Martin would spit in the faces of Lloyd (dearth of recruiting), RichRod (dearth of Terrelle Pryor), Sheridan (dearth of talent), and Feagin (dearth of something) by saying that about the team.
It's cool you had lunch with him, but posting a stupid, probably fake quote about something that's already a day old is kind of lame.

After 40 years of Michigan fandom and so many fantastic memories, I'm not bailing out.
If there's a certain amount of pain to be endured, I want to get it over with. The seeds of future greatness will be found in moments in these games; from these players. Examples include the OL line plays that Brian posted today; improvement in the return teams against Purdue; and Zoltan's continuing punting magnificance.

Would that be masocism?
My first 10 years of attending M games -- 45 W 46 L with 6 Losing Seasons.
It definitely got a lot better for the next 40 years.
