OT Jameis Winston did not violate code [LOCKED]
The title tells it all.

"The preponderance of the evidence has not shown that you are responsible for any of the charge violations of the Code," Major Harding, a former Florida State Supreme Court Chief Justice who oversaw the case, said in a letter to the parties obtained by the Associated Press and USA Today. "Namely, I find that the evidence before me is insufficient to satisfy the burden of proof."

The troubling thing in this case and those like them is that when the burden of proof isn't met (and I assume that means different things in different states as well as in a court of law versus a university disciplinary meeting) the woman is automatically judged to be a liar. Either she's right and her accuser is guilty, or she's a slutty whore looking to either make a buck in a civil suit or she's a psycho looking to get revenge. Of course, there couldn't possibly be any more options than that. Right?

Posting #cleatchaser on Twitter certainly doesn't help your cause.

So let's just say she is a "cleatchaser" for argument's sake. Can a cleatchaser not be raped? Can a woman who has an affinity for athletes, or musicians for that matter - groupies - is a sexual act forced upon a woman like this not rape? Can only certain types of women be raped?

I just want to understand what you're saying. Becasue she posed in this manner (which I assume you think is provocative), she must be not telling the truth, and perhaps even asking for it? Please correct me if that's not what you meant with this link.

her story was b.s. she was trying to extort money and erica kinsman should be charged with a crime.

Prove it. The burden of proof is on you now.

Bullshit.
Show me a flattering or positive definition of "cleatchaser". If she was a groupie like you suggest, maybe #GoNoles or #GoJamies would have been in better taste.

Unfortunately neither you nor I know what happened in that room. Only they do. But let's be clear about something: rape is not about perception. It is not about image, or style of dress. It's about an act perpetrated by one person against another. Facts can't always be proven in a court of law, or a university disciplinary tribunal, for a number of reasons. That doesn't mean the act in question didn't happen. And next time you call someone a moron, make sure you know your facts about that person.

If you don't know what happened in that room, then quit commenting like you're an expert on it. Moron.

The code is more what you call guidelines than actual rules. Welcome aboard the Florida State football team Miss (victim name).

Florida State University should be ashamed. They and the local police care only about FSU football. The Feds should give them the death sentence. The Winston so called investigation was a farce. Evidence was destroyed, information was shared with Winston’s lawyer and not the plaintiff. This has all been well covered in national media. I know FSU grads are cringing and getting worried. Three of my best friends are FSU grads. They are sick about this.
Is this unusual for priorities to be given to football players instead of justice? It happens but it is not right or fair. I would never let my daughters go to a school where they shame women so much. Rape happens in many places and even good universities. But it doesn’t have to happen. Behavior can change. People can be brought to justice. The justice system can work . . . even within a university setting. Usually everyone needs training and a sense of urgency. Women have a right to an education without being afraid. FSU cares about none of this. I hope FSU burns in hell for their behavior. Have the Feds cut them off from funding. I hope they start losing football games and women stop applying to school there. They are despicable.
I want Michigan to win in athletics but not at the price of a lack of integrity.

God forbid shoddy evidence doesn't find Winston guilty. Dude isn't an angel but according to the evidence, he isn't guilty either. It doesn't mean that he is innocent, but there is just not enough evidence like many other rape cases. Contradicting statements from the alleged victim and her family's racial biases against Black men definitely doesn't do her any favors.
Funny watching people having tantrums because 3 different investigations did not work out in their agenda driven favor.
