yeah right-- remember that Goofball DBC that RRod brought to MICHIGAN. This was AFTER he had fired the then current Mch-DBC Blanchard-?? and DC-English, for that matter.
Blanchard-?? was then hired by Meyer-Fla. And then went with C-Strong-?? to Louisville as DC.
It IS possible-- that Blanchard is NOW with C-Strong-?? at Texas, as DC.
Such-- is the Visionary Nature of RRod when it comes to Defense, and Other Personnel Matters . . .

yes-- V-Bedford WAS with Strong at Lville. And I CONFIRMED in a preliminary way, that Bedford is INDEED the Current DC at Texas with Strong.
I believe THIS board has referenced Strong as a CC-Candidate for MICHIGAN, and presumably this would mean BRINGING BACK Bedford--
AFTER his FIRING by RRod . . .
These above points are WHY- in the end- this Board has Virtually ZERO Credibility on just about ANYTHING RRod

No way that RR goes 11-2 and a Sugar Bowl win in 2011 with that D staff.
I will say that if Michigan had shown any signs of having even a decent defense under RR, that would have generated more offensive touches and probably more points, so I can be persuaded that Casteel's absence from RR's UM staff made a significant difference.
and I don't think that AZ's offense would put up that many points against Stanford if they played Stanford (and Stanford has as much of a history of beating Oregon as AZ does and with higher stakes involved in Stanford-Oregon games
