Friday Night Drinking Thread
How's it going MGoBoard? Any good stories from the week? Anything good in your cup or on your plate?
How are all you guys (and gals) doing lately?
Oberon. Summer seems to have arrived.
Nice and toasty here in Chicago, but I would gladly trade in this traffic for your scenry and snow.
Hope there was a clause in there regarding couch disposal, though.
I'd anticipate the couches were covered in their Staee Farm home insurance policy.
A thousand points to you until the next Friday night thread.
how's that new house, and have you had to have it loused since the sparties left?!
Just bottled a Hefeweizen and sipping on a 3 Brothers.
I've been into the Angry Orchard Traditional Dry cider lately, and indeed, that's what I am going with on this rather mild night here in southeastern Michigan. For some reason, it has made an excellent pairing with the NFL Draft. I may very well break into the pizza I ordered earlier as it seems like a perfect night for that as well.
Good stuff, hope everything is going well up there.
Just Budweiser with my darling
Picked up a twelve pack of that myself yesterday. Selected it over the all day IPA cans because it has more alcohol and was the same price. Cheers to you.
After attending AAUM Dinner in Columbus with Brandon as guest speaker.
Yup. I'm drunk. Kind of an nfl draft tradition I have. I get drunk and yell at the family. take my pants off early in the night. spill mustard on my white tee. Good times.
in the strip bar with eddie murphy whose about to break up an armed robbery, who says, '[Justin]!, where you been?!?'
Lately I've been around a decent amount but not saying much, at least the past couple weeks or so. I'm working pretty much constantly these days but I'll be trying to get on more in coming days/weeks.
How have you been? Good I hope. If you ever get in the mood to drop me an email you have the address that gets my phone buzzing, had a pretty good talk with some fellow MGoBloggers about the Babcock rumors you've been calling for a while now just last week, so that definitely does work.
but would love to catch up on the details. invite you to shoot me one since I know you do have it and I can respond. working today as well, tuesday will be the end of an extraordinarily busy few months, stepping down to 'normal' busy after that.
to their first tiger game down in detroit yesterday. told them of the story that their grandfather (my dad, of course) had told me of how he went to his first game when he and his family got their chores done early on the farm, one day in 1938, and drove down to briggs stadium (became tiger stadium) on dirt roads from rochester. we did the same yesterday, though our farm is much further away and we only had about 2 miles of dirt road before we got to pavement.
sunny and hot and had forgotten what that was like. they loved it. dinner with family last night. brought the boys back home this a.m.
go blue and happy weekend to you all
I don't know what I'm drinking but I feel, well...
