U-M Hockey vs OSU Sat Open Thread
AMAIZE-ing come from behind win last night, with some real gritty goals. But Hughes getting the first goal on the 5-on-3 PP at the end of the 2nd period with 2 seconds left was very important. U-M gave up the first goal of the 3rd, but then scored 3 unanswered for the win.
Of course getting the sweep will be tough, but would be oh so sweet.

So OSU clinches. MN is 2nd with 36 pts, but they're done w/conf games. U-M & ND tied at 34 for 3rd. PSU in 5th with 32, losing to WI 5-2 after two.
Shots tied at 9 in the 3rd, U-M 1, OSU 3 in 1OT. Not sure about 2nd. Tot 30, 26.

Do I have this correct, as for the B1G playoff format ? :
Ohio St gets a first round bye and #2 hosts #7, #3 hosts #6, and #4 hosts #5 in best-of-3 first round series; followed by single game elimination semi-final and Championship games.
In other words, if we finish top 4, we have at least 2 more home games this season?

I can’t help myself but I detest OSU more and more each day. It used to be for years their insufferable fans and that paragon of virtue, Woody Hayes. Then it was also the football team and later the round ball team with the poor sport whose name escapes me in 92 I ojbelieve in a crushing loss to Michigan in the NCAAs and now hockey. In fact, anything in red (scarlet to the purists.) !!
