She just has an enormous weight on her shoulders now, in an organization and climate of uncertainty and anger. I am referencing the awful struggles of the last few years, and the suspicion that she will have to work to dispel. I don't envy her, but I do wish her the best.

Better. Let's send our people to fix their problems--instead of bringing their problems here.

I knew Li Li & her twin & teammate May May a little bit when they were freshman. No conversations that I remember anything about in particular, but they were super nice, sweet, smiley & adorable! Sorry, that's all I really knew about them besides that I was proud of them for their gymnastics accomplishments and that I was a teeny bit smitten when I was around them! Haha.
Something I was reading about gymnastics just a few weeks ago made me think of them for the first time in forever and now this!
May May has a PHD & is an Assistant Professor of nutrition at Roosevelt House Public Public Policy Institute at Hunter College. She's been researching and working on improving children's and public health in general and for minority and urban youth health and on related public policy. So altogether & combined, a couple of slackers! Haha, what an amazing pair of sisters!
Go Li Li & May May & Go Blue!
