Sure but Georgia got trounced by LSU and blew their game against Bama. They had their shot. I have no sympathy for them - they knew the terms

"Knew the terms" implies they had a choice which they did not. ND ended up beating what 2 ranked teams all year and playing 3 true road games, none of which were against a team with fewer than 5 losses.

I agree you need to win your games, but I think an expanded playoff serves as the equalizer. One team plays a cupcake schedule and goes undefeated. The other plays a gauntlet but trips up a few times. Who should be in? Just let the teams play and the answer is obvious: Georgia would've stomped ND and OSU would have too

I don't disagree with that, but OSU was not winning the title this year, and the Bama - Georgia game was a de facto playoff game.

Thank the Lord Notre Dame has actually regressed since they played us.. people won't be clamoring to hire Brian Kelly.

I was getting worried about Kelly leaving for the NFL and Urban ending up there. Would hate to see ND become as dominant as OSU was under him.
