Bama Flips Texas A&M DB Tonight as well

Ranked in the top 40 on ESPN, Alabama also flips Texas A&M commit 4 star CB Jeffery Carter.   That is quite a coincidence in the same night.

He wanted Chris Partridge. Seriously.

He did get Dan Enos. And we now watch him, siting on a chair, working with the QBs on the Alabama sidelines.

Now Saban got Daxton Hill. The kids fantastic on video!! We will probably see him making some great plays by the end of next season.

Sucks. Technically, we never “had” Dax as verbal commitments are about as solid as jello.

The loss to OSU did almost irreparable damage. One would think that osu would be bleeding recruits after Meyer left, but that game left the feeling that Michigan May never balance the series.

Harbaugh has done a great job overall, but recruits listen to the Paul Finebaums and ESPN media personalities who suck at the teet of the SEC.

I’m so glad Gary chose to come to UM, but I’ve wondered if he ever looks back on a decision between Um and Clemson and wonders if he made the right decision. He’s not getting finishing his degree and could’ve played in the CFP twice. Winning on the national stage just seems to rectify everything with recruits.

I really wonder how the WR group feels. Is Oliver Martin happy with the number of targets he gets?

People were all pissed we didn’t recruit KJ Hamler after seeing how dynamic he is. Does anyone think he looks like that if he comes here? Michgian has some absolutely top level guys on the team and they’re not getting put into a position to succeed.

Why would other top level guys come after seeing that? Would you want your kid to make that choice?

I have to wonder how much longer Jim Harbaugh is going to watch the passing game underachieve. I think he tried to do something about it by hiring Dan Enos, and then Jim McElwain. I wish he'd make the clean cut and let Pep Hamilton go. There has GOT TO BE coaches out there who will immediately be better than Pep Hamilton. I agree with you about the great receivers at Michigan. They should be lighting it up, being a nightmare to secondaries.

Wrong. Saban was 7-6 in his first year of 2007. Between 2000-2006, Alabama had records of 3-8, 4-9, 6-6, and 6-7. There was even a 7-5 sprinkled in there during that span. Since that 2007 season of 7-6, the most losses Alabama has had has been 3 in 2010. So to say quit whining about bagmen is ridiculous. How else do they go from 7-8-9 loss seasons, to being a football machine? It is quite obvious what started happening around that program in 2007-08.

football recruit flips and school/program (underclassmen & grad) transfers are, and will continue to become more prevalent in the current NCAA model ...so get used to it

"come to 'bama and compete for National Championships.... or go to Michigan and hope you might beat ohio state next year"   The only sales pitch Nick Satan needs.

We're talking about 18 year old kids.

Of course there is the occasional exception.

"Dad I want to go to USC, I want to be a Trojen."

"Tua, you're going to 'Bama.... don't make me take my belt off again!"

How many 4-5 star DB’s can one team use!? One more I guess. After Dax and this guy I count 5 in this recruiting cycle for Bama. The rich are getting richer.
