John O'Neil should be banned from officiating B1G games
Re: The John O'Neill crew. This isn't a one-game issue. This isn't a three-game issue. This is years of consistent, game-defining malpractice. This isn't just bad calls; their inability to manage personal fouls is the reason these games get out of control and players get hurt.

it's almost like we need delany to send us an approved list of who the officiating crew is going to be

So you are going to ban a Big Ten official from doing Big Ten games? How does that work? John O'Neill is a Big Ten official so if you want him out, he would have to be fired by the conference.
On a side note, Dan Capron was removed from the Big Ten after a poor performance in 2002, but he eventually got reinstated to the pool of Big Ten officials.

He should be banned from officiating, period. It's not like other conferences deserve to have him.
. . . OK, maybe the SEC.

Took O'Neill and Co. a ridiculous amount of time to confirm the targeting call, while the crowd watched replays of the hit on the big screen.

You need to gather video of all of these instances and go to the USA today to make it a scene and hammer down on the B1G. Find someone there who is willing to write the story and not afraid of repercussions. Then once they are made a mockery of to the nation and it shows these kids getting hurt, only then will these dumbasses take action. Maybe. You or someone could really blow this thing out of the water if you wanted to.

Who are the refs this Saturday? Urban hand pick them again...?

Saturday's crew shouldn't be allowed to do Pop Warner I games! Bad and missed calls are one thing, but when you allow the game to get out of control, that is all on the officials. Spike on Winovich should've been 15 and immediate ejection, official was standing right there. My guess is Don Brown filed this one away and IU O will feel the wrath next season!

If Warde Manual does not write a scathing letter to the Big Ten, including a detailed summary of how this crew has screwed our team and endangered our players, he has no balls.

The Big Ten needs to step up, reduce payouts to schools, and pay for the highest caliber, full-time referees, along with recruiting and training. Pay these guys $250k equivalent if they are used all season, have them go through training 4 days a week, have a stable of 200 guys competing to officiate games. Demote guys when they make big mistakes and fire them when it's clear they aren't learning. Make refereeing a priority.

Brian suggested it on the podcast, and I've been thinking about it a lot: what if Harbaugh just blasted O'Neill publicly, by name? The Big Ten would fine him, probably a lot. But they couldn't possibly assign him to any more Michigan games, could they? After the badwill a public call-out would cause, I don't see how it would be fair to put his crew on a M game.

Yes, but he won't, because Jim Delaney.
