OT: MSU Board of Trustees

I know.....the no politics on here, but with everyone who is on the ballot for MSU B.o.T. having MSU ties and  contining the cover up for Mork and Izzo, I am writing in Devin Bush and Chase Winovich on my ballot for tomorrow to be the next trustees for MSU.  They need some outsiders for their Board and these two men would serve well.  Are there any other candidates that would be worthy of a write in vote?

Serious reason why you shouldn’t vote for Devin Bush and Chase Winovich for Board of Trustees:  even though they’d doubtless be better than whoever they’d replace, they have no real chance of being elected.  People who do have a real chance – are Mss. Scott and Tebay, who’ve campaigned on pushing back against Engler.

Slightly less serious reason why you shouldn’t vote for Devin Bush and Chase Winovich for Board of Trustees:  MSU needs outside voices badly, and not people who’re entrenched in the same-old, same-old.  As we saw two weeks ago, Devin and Chase comprehensively own Spartan Stadium, so they are not the outside voices we need.

I don't live in the state anymore, but if I did, I would vote completely independent of party lines. Democrat, Republican, Green, Independent, I wouldn't care. Just tell me you're going to do everything in your power to change the culture of that institution for the better. Tell me you won't stand by and let cancers like John Engler further destroy your school's image. Tell me the Larry Nassars of the world won't be able to thrive in plain sight, and that sexual assault survivors won't be belittled as scheming opportunists out to make a quick buck. Because that's what your current BoT and interim president are doing.

There are good people at MSU. I'm not going to throw everyone there into the same bucket, and many students/faculty/alums want change. But the powers that be at that school have destroyed that school's credibility. They've discarded basic human decency for on-field/on-court success, and on top of that, they just don't care what you or anyone else thinks about it.
