During Urban Meyer's presser today he spoke to the media for 57 minutes, he answered every question. I believe Urban when he says he doesn't condone DV, there was never a charge of DV from the professionals, the police. Urban's biggest mistake was giving Zach to many chances when his job duties were slipping. I'm not at all saying Urban doesn't have dirt, but he did not cover up DV, the report shows it, NO POLICE REPORT of DV. Some of you Michigan fans just want him gone because you think you'll start beating us again, well what makes you think that, you couldn't beat Jim Tressel. A head football coach at a major university can't get involved in everybody's life. Do you guys think Jim Harbaugh knows every damn thing about his coaches and what they do on their own time? And almighty ESPN and a few of those talking heads on there need to get their fucking facts straight, like old man Paul. And furthermore Brett McMurphy during the investigation only got one damn side of the story, hey Brett where is the DV charge? Urban isn't going anywhere for awhile folks, he'll be at OSU another 10 years. And I know a lot of you don't like me on here posting, tough damn shit, I'll post where I want to. If the mods have an issue with me, give me the boot.

You are too funny Wyandot. Urban isn't going to last another 10 years. Why does that even matter to you. Are you a member of his family? Does he not have enough money?
OSU doesn't need Urban to win,with the cozy bagmen system you have, assured to lock in the talent from a talent rich state, 3 deep. Like Alabama and a couple others. It isn't about NFL. (What happened to JT, no NFL career?) it's about the payments that in Ohio,start in high school and certainly continue in college. Players are going where they can get paid earlier, not later, in a select few programs, and thus we have today's talent disparity....everyone else can fight it out for a spot in the playoffs...maybe.
The culture in Ohio is different. Tressel's bag man buddy spent 10 years in federal prison on unrelated charges and just happened to be the chair of Youngstown State's board. In Ann Arbor this just isn't going to happen and I am damn glad. Our current President doesn't care much about sports. In Columbus, your president was tasked with ensuring that skeevy Urban kept his job.
Over the last couple of years I have developed a very jaded view towards college football championships. It's gotten so dirty I don't care anymore. Don't get me wrong, I'm always happy with a win, and hate to lose. It's strengthened my already half-century strong Michigan fandom whether we win, or not.

meyer keeps tripping over his own lies. in the espn interview, he claims that he never knew of any domestic abuse by smith. never discussed smith's domestic violence issues or saw the pictures provided to his wife. he also has said he didn't know about the dui.
he goes on to say that he kept smith on board so he could continue to provide for his family and to help him through his troubles. he said he wish he would have fired him long ago over those troubles? but what troubles? he said he knew of no domestic abuse or dui. he actually said his mistake was basically being too caring for his players and coaches.
