META: Calling GoBlueBBQ

Though the resulting mid-day cravings can be brutal, I've been longing for the weekly posts from GoBlueBBQ.  Hook us up with some new recipes!

 

In the meantime, what grilled favorites does the mgoboard have planned for this season?  One of my staples is the Grilled Cheese and Chicken Kabobs inspired by the man himself...and made without kittens!

Not sure what specifically is causing your heat problems but here are a couple common reasons, and fixes that can help tremendously:

1: Make sure you have a separate digital thermometer probe to monitor your smoker temp.  The manufacturer thermometers are often way off.

2: Make sure you are getting a good seal around the door and the handle.  Some smokers, like the Masterbuilt, are notorious for not sealing all the way.  That would definitely cause unsteady temps.  If that’s the issue, you can buy some high temp silicone caulk and seal up that door.

My wife and I have tried to replicate many of the recipes.  Really elevates game day.    Thanks a bunch and I hope we can make this a weekly thing.
