why?  because they get guys that are the right body type at tackle... 6-7 or so with long arms, and hope they pan out... instead, we stick 6-4 short armed guys at tackle and hope they play well out of position.   frey corrected this with Mayfield and Hayes.  Havent seen anyone of this body type from Harbaugh before and after Frey. Lets see if he lands Benhart… If they end up whiffing on both Keegan and Benhart for some 6-5ish tackle, then I'll go apeshit yet again, and then you can count on the guy playing inside, along with Filiaga, Stewart, Steuber, Barnhart, etc.

and the thing about harbaugh sr looming, someone said since he moved here that Harbaugh hasn't been the same.......well, Bo fired him... so he should take his soft coaching advice with a grain....

Our coach is not inspiring anybody. Watch the post game interview with all his two word answers. He should be upset with the result, but always plays it off like it “we will be fine”. Well guess what Jimmy we are not fine. I want you to stand there and say “our offense was unaccatable” with some spit and fire coming out of your mouth. Not the case, his flame is burning out and it’s costing us 7 million a year to do so.If you can’t ever win road games against ranked teams, especially your rivals your ass is gone, legacy coach or not, don’t care.

we can talk position decencies all day, but I was at the game and even during warm ups this team didn’t seem to have any fire. The entire team seamed flat and just running through the motions. Play calling was once again predictable, and so the story goes. We have the talent, now we just need a college coaching staff.

i wanna know where our inexperienced RB coach, Jay Harbaugh, learned to coach the RBs...YouTube?  I keep seeing vision issues with our RBs that sure looks like coaching to me!  Hire a real RB coach and find something else for your son to do!

Guys this is frustrating.   I wanted Harbaugh here and was so pissed when Brandon didn’t go after him.  Fast forward, Hoke is fired and Jim is hired.  I was so thrilled and thought it was just a matter of time before we’d be competing for B10 chanpionships.  I don’t know what I saw last night and I don’t know what’s happened to our coach.  He’s a shell of himself.  It’s almost like he has lost confidence in himself.    He has to turn this around right????

The main complaint I had is throwing on 2nd and 2 on the ND 2 when we had consistently been getting 3ish yards a run.

There was no urgency at the end of the game down 2 scores. They were taking 30+ seconds each play. Then again, we did get the ball back with 2:00 remaining and a chance to tie, so maybe the clock management wasn’t as bad as I initially thought.

First it was Hoke wearing a short sleeve shirt regardless of the temperature , now Harbaugh is wearing a long sleeve shirt regardless of the temperature . The offensive line is the least of our problems. How can you coach a football team when you’re too stubborn to change your shirt according to the weather outside.

I’m over the loss and I think we can still have a good season. I had more of a tempered view of our season than some before the game.

The reason this sucked so much is that it felt like a betrayal. We’d heard from numerous insiders and players about the huge leaps the O Line had made. We also had heard other things about the offense that didn’t show up. So we had all this hype and the offense put up 90 yards in a half and got bullied by what was an average ND defense last year. They looked lost in offense.

But it’s over now, I really think we can get the ship pointed in the right direction over these next few games and the O will be explosive.

I just don’t understand how the game plans in Harbaugh year one with none of his players aside from a transfer qb looked so much better than 4 years after. Watching them scheme and dissect defenses was incredible and I just kept thinking, man, if he can do this with someone else’s team, it is going to be so much fun when he gets his own guys.

Welp????
