MSU CB Josiah Scott out at least 2 months
Lets focus on our other morally corupt rival real quick.
Starting CB Josiah Scott is out for two months due to a non contact injury according to Mork. Link. That would put Scott's return date right before MSU's game against PSU, the game before we play them. Scott was a freshman AA last year so if he misses those games it's a big blow to MSU.
I'm pretty sure the punter bobbled the snap before anyone touched him correct? 5 turnovers and you won by 4 pts. Wins are wins at the end of the day, it's the overconfidence that I'm confused by. 8/10 will do that I guess.
Perhaps if you had more people on the line, JWJ doesn't score.... It's not like he wasn't close to being tackled before the goal line.
And turnovers, while mostly controlled by luck, are 3 times more likely while passing and probably 300 (awesome movie) times more likely when throwing in a monsoon.
This is true.
Why Harbaugh decided JOK would be Drew Brees for the night is something I'll never understand. All of your points are pretty spot on. It basically comes down to the fact that Michigan needs to win big games and show up in big moments. Will it happen? History says no lol but I'm still holding out hope.
I will say this. Harbaugh's tenure at UM is not nearly as bad as some make it seem (rivals mainly). 10/10/8 wins over the course of 3 years is not bad. Actually it's good and could be better if not for some unfortunate circumstances. If he beats Notre Dame and splits between MSU/OSU and somehow gets to 10 wins, I think the national narrative will change. It is a tall order but UM has talent and the QB position will determine if they can actually do it.
If Harbaugh beats ND and splits OSU/MSU you're looking at a Rose Bowlr season or better - the narrative would definitely change.
I'm not saying Harbaugh CAN'T achieve this - but his history says it's a really bad bet to take. It's going to be interesting watching Patterson vs good defenses in a new system. Harbaugh isn't a bad coach - he just took over at a really bad time to try to beat his rivals, as OSU/MSU are rolling and the whole division thing is another Delaney joke.
It was a monsoon for most of the 2nd half. Dantonio ran up the gut 3 times and punted, Harbaugh had O'Korn in the shot gun and throwing. Results were predictable, one of O'Korn's INT was because he fumbled the shotgun snap. We run the ball all second half and we win, period.
If Dantonio is recruiting someone that Bama and UM looked at, it's because there's some major issues there that Saban hard passed on, same with Harbaugh.
Some recruits only start talking to you once you offer, so not all offers are actual, you can come play for us offers. I hope your four star works out for you. That sounds like a real good get.

Scott was really good for them. He was just a step below Hill last year as a true freshman. I think they have a capable backup, but just a bunch of young guys after that.
I get what you're saying, and there's truth to it, but the Dobbs quotes really shine some light on recruiting. I find it hard to believe Harbaugh didn't want Dobbs or Logan Brown.

What, that he said Harbaugh and co ignored him for years?
Are you saying that's indicative that there was a big fight between top programs for him?
