Nebraska Beats Minnesota and Other Basketball Discussion

Submitted by VCavman24 on

In a pretty good game, Nebraska beat (upset?) Minnesota 82-78.  Nebraska remains unbeaten at home except for its loss to Michigan.  In the only other Big Ten game today, Indiana beat Illinois 56-46 in a not-so-pretty game.  Arizona also leads Utah 31-26 at the half.

Really hope we come out guns blazing against Purdue. A loss would be devastating and would really be a blown opportunity. Especially with Iowa/MSU playing each other and OSU/Whisky playing this week.

After playing 3 straight Top 10 teams, Purdue almost seems like a breather.  Purdue isn't awful though and if UM comes out treating it like a breather, the game could be much closer than it should.  Add in that going on the road to Bloomington isn't going to be easy and the Purdue game takes on a little more importance.

I also have felt that after the last three games, Purdue can't possibly be a loss, but it's clear that no win (home or away) is all that easy if at all.

We barely escaped Nebraska with a win which was more difficult than playing at MSU according to the score, etc.

Hopefully the players are really following Coach Beilein's mantra of the next game is the only game that matters and each game is the same as any other one.
