Minnesota has hired FIU's Richard Pitino, son of Louisville head coach Rick Pitino, as head of ther men's basketball program.
One more time:
Brother?
that gif is great but look down a few posts....
Yeah, I debated. That post said "expected", this was the official announcement. At least there's a gif out of it!
Well, the post below said "expected". As I said, I debated on posting this, but they officially made an agreement.
In before delete!
I always miss out on that
It's a pretty good feeling, a good percentage of my posts are in deleted threads. So much win in knowing you are silently archived in the mgoblog deleted posts server . . . safely offshore.
How is he related to Dick Fitzenbut?
Yes, that was changed a few minutes ago.
...that someone has posted something that has already, and very recently, been posted on the board. Are these people being serious?
Has anyone heard that Michigan is Top 10 Dream School and that Hoke would love McGary at TE?
Thank you for taking the time to post about how this has already been posted on the board*, something that, ironically, has already been posted a couple times in this thread.
*Other thread says Minnesota is expected to hire Pitino, but it wasn't updated to reflect that they had actually hired him, hence this post.
Here, you can visit http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/ot-american-athletic-conference-new-name-former-big-east-conference and complain about how that has already been posted too.
I often go on other threads and tell people to be nice and to chill out, so I apologize for not following my own advice. I wasn't trying to attack you, but I was trying to point out the insanity that was yesterday. I honestly wanted to know if people thought various OPs (not just you) were being serious yesterday when they were posting content that was still visible on the front page. Yesterday was a rare day for mgoblog, and I could have used a much better choice of words to point that out.
Also, I probably could have made my point without the bitchy comments about Mitch McGary and Michigan being a top 10 dream school, and I apologize for that as well.
Finally, looking back on it, your thread does point out that Pitino was actually hired, instead of just being an expected hire. I guess you did not violate the posting rules.

Just look at the names, going from Tubby to Richard, is a lose lose lose lose situation
This hire gose against Minnisota's main head coaching principles...He looks nothing like a Gopher. I don't see him lasting very long.
