OT: Soldier Field to host two outdoor hockey games next season
According to ESPN, Soldier Field will host a Wisconsin-Minnesota matchup and a Miami-Notre Dame matchup.
That means Notre Dame will play a football game against Miami (YTM) and a hockey game against Miami (NTM) in Soldier Field next season.

As long as Notre Dame loses both, it'll be a good event

What is this "Notre Dame" you speak of?

You know, Notre Dame (YTND), not Notre Dame (NTND).
EDIT: Or maybe the Swedish metal band should be "YTND"?

Hoping that'll kill off the italics from the rest of the thread.
Nope, after six tries, still utter failure.
I think there's an open tag somewhere (possibly in my non-existent signature?) because the italics thing has happend a few times before. Will a </i> solve it?
EDIT: FIXED. And no longer a non-existent signature - basically, I just added a lot of "</i>"s to the HTML to close any possible open italics tags haha

We'll have the record for attendance for a hockey game unless Beaver Stadium gets filled to capacity.

As a Chicagoan, I could not hate more that Notre Dame is considered a Chicago team

The only thing I hate about my home town.

And, the fact that the Chicago media (pretty much) ignores NW is another slap in the face (to the B1G). We should all go to Soldier Field and become Miami (YTM, NTM) fans for these two events.

ESPN is just now catching wind of this?

will hold a candle to Toronto/Detroit at the Big House.
What's going on in this thread?! Why is everything italicized!? HAS THE WHOLE WORLD GONE CRAZY!?
What has happened, I believe, is that the last "normal" post has an open HTML tag in it, which means that everything after it will be formatted in the manner prescribed by the tag (this is the same reason that long stretches of replies have been emboldened too). One of our esteemed mods will have to close the tag in order for the world to return to normal.
