ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Despite earlier weather reports, the University of Michigan Athletic Department has decided to proceed with plans to host the 2012 Mott Spring Game presented by PNC Bank and the "Battle at the Big House" men's lacrosse game at Michigan Stadium today (Saturday, April 14). The football scrimmage and lacrosse game are free to the public, but the University has teamed with C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in a fundraiser for the new hospital.
"The reports have improved overnight and we felt that it was appropriate to prepare for the football and lacrosse games at Michigan Stadium," said Rob Rademacher, associate athletic director for facilities and operations.
Fans are asked to use caution because of the weather reports. Michigan will proceed with the originally scheduled plan at Michigan Stadium, but if lightning or thunder comes within six miles of the stadium, the spring game will be cancelled immediately for the safety of the fans and players. The regular-season lacrosse game will follow NCAA rules when it pertains to weather delays.
The gates to Michigan Stadium will open at 9 a.m. The fourth annual alumni flag football game will start with introductions at 10 a.m. Following the conclusion of the alumni game, Team 133 will take the field for warm-ups at approximately 11:30 a.m. The final spring practice and scrimmage will begin at noon and will be broadcast nationally by the Big Ten Network. Immediately following the conclusion of the Mott Spring Game, the Michigan and Ohio State men's lacrosse teams will begin warm-ups. The "Battle at the Big House" is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.

Dude he is Darth Vader. Sith meditation is from 12:00am to 5:00am.
plus i'm taking a poop
I realize nobody really wants to sit in the rain, but they don't cancel games simply because it's raining.
For w ahile they were predicting thunderstorms at game time so I think it had more to do with potential lightning issues than simply rain.
But wunderground.com is the best weather site on the internet, period. Also because it's owned and operated by a bunch of Michigan grads.
so any streams of the game available? I don't have btn this time of year
I got your back
I dont think Coach Hoke is going to be wearing a poncho today. Time for everybody to man up.

Fingers crossed for the weather to allow the spring game to be played outside at the stadium, rather than indoors and closed to the public. Obviously the stadium would be a better experience for those who travelled to be there, including the recruits. Let's just hope the weather gods show mercy on us today and we don't have to cancel the game at the stadium! Either way, I can't wait to watch the game on the BTN!

Per the Weather Channel map for the next six hours, it looks like any rain should be east of Ann Arbor just about the same time as the game is about to start.
Caveat - it is weather so no guarantees.
