Wohlberg and Guptill honored by CCHA; Hunwick for Hobey?
David Wohlberg was named the Offensive Player of the Week by the CCHA, while Alex Guptill was named the Rookie of the Week. What's up with the rest of the CCHA that our players keep winning these things?

I already gave it away, but our nominee is Shawn Hunwick (!?) Am I crazy or is this crazy? I miss having multiple nominees but having a shot at the tourney is much more important and somehow this team still has that shot. Thoughts?

Somewhat unrelated, but I just noticed at the end of the first link: They're broadcasting the Frozen Diamond Faceoff on FSD Plus? Really? No BTN love or even regular FSD?
Does anyone remember what channel the Big Chill was on? (actual question)

The Big Chill was on FSD. It was picked up by BTN (they used the FSD announcers) but blacked out areas that gets Fox Sports Detroit.

We definitely still have a shot. Improve defensive zone coverage, get Sparks and Glendening scoring, and connect on the PP, and we should be in great shape!

That unfortunately seems like a lot to ask. Glendening needs a spark, and Sparks needs a... spark
But the PP seems like it never picks up, even when we have players that are supposed to score 100 goals a season. If I had to choose, I would rather the PK learn how to get the damn puck out of the zone (and keep it out of the net) first. Merrill should help that (please god).
However, the fact that no one has very many goals, but many people have some goals, is pretty good in a different way. I like the distribution. Now, if one person goes on a hot streak and the others keep it up, we could be unstoppable.
And the funny thing is, last year's team was much more infuriating because we were losing when we weren't supposed to. The Friday night woes (or was it Saturday?) really made me angry. That team made the NCG. Not bad.

Jack Connoley of UMD at 22%,
Austin Smith of Colgate at 10%
Shawn Hunwick and Greg Miller of Cornell at 8%
For all he's done for M hockey the past 3 years, vote for Hunwick!!
