Especially if you're doing vibration control, PSD is the thing to look at. Since you're normalized for frequency resolution, you can compare two spectra from different controllers and not have to worry about whether the levels make any sense. Good call.

convert the PSD file to a 72dpi JPEG and you'll be fine. If you need it for print, convert it to a 300dpi TIFF file, but don't upsample it.
