Shane Morris?
December 30th, 2011 at 10:20 PM ^
Boobs.

Amen to that.
December 30th, 2011 at 9:47 PM ^
I'm hoping we land at least 1 of these guys. Morris will most likely get his fifth star after the camps and combines are over. He was hurt by poor performances by his receivers and OL this year.

Is fuller Devins fullers little brother?
December 30th, 2011 at 9:50 PM ^
no he is not
December 30th, 2011 at 9:52 PM ^
Don't they go to the same high school? Lol
December 30th, 2011 at 9:47 PM ^
Im really shocked that Shane isnt a 5 star yet. The way every site and event he has been at, he beats everyone out of the 2012 class.
December 30th, 2011 at 9:52 PM ^
Again, why is anyone surprised. This is Rivals we're talking about.
December 30th, 2011 at 9:57 PM ^
I don't get Cam Burrows. I guess it's the height.
December 30th, 2011 at 11:06 PM ^
I think size, ball skills, and physicality all play into it along with his athletisism.
By the way your boy, Wiggins, played pretty well in the Georgia Junior east vs west game. Dropped an easy pick six though.

Of course they are all planning on visiting. "This is Michigan fergodsakes"
December 30th, 2011 at 10:15 PM ^
I thought he had a pretty good season.. Not worthy of 5th star?
December 30th, 2011 at 10:21 PM ^
These are only the first 10 5-stars. I think Rivals typically ends up with ~40 5-stars.
December 30th, 2011 at 10:49 PM ^
Try 20-30
December 30th, 2011 at 11:05 PM ^
I'm almost positive that I read that one service has that many before the season began.
December 31st, 2011 at 12:12 AM ^
Scout always has fifty. Then 51-300 are all 4 stars. Which is dumb, of course, because it implies that every year is just as good as the last.
December 30th, 2011 at 10:16 PM ^
If Shane gets a fifth star from Rivals, it won't be any time soon. They are big on offers and buzz, and Shane's "I don't care who calls or comes to the school, I'm not interested" directive (which I love by the way) means some schools won't bother offering him and thus it'll be too boring to warrant a fifth star. Rivals is stingy with the stars anyway.
December 30th, 2011 at 10:51 PM ^
Shane turned up in every camp under the sun this year and turned out in all of them. If that does'nt fire up enough "buzz" for a 5 star in 2013 nothing will
December 30th, 2011 at 11:07 PM ^
That's what I'm saying. Everyone with an opinion on any of the sites you went to gushed over him. He was one of the first guys to get a 5* on Scout. You never know how they will grade a guy, regardless of what they say. I find it funny the descriptions that go with the stars sometimes. "He's a can't miss prospect. He has all the tools to contribute early at the next level." And then they give him 3*.

Shane Morris to other recruiting coaches...
December 31st, 2011 at 1:34 AM ^
I have to disagree with this illustration of Shane's response, because if he looked like that he would get 6 stars.
December 31st, 2011 at 12:56 PM ^
I likey
December 31st, 2011 at 12:12 AM ^
Wow. 2 QB's & No Shane.
December 31st, 2011 at 8:51 AM ^
Good grief, people. Rivals has released TEN 5-stars for 2013...and you're upset that Shane Morris isn't one of them. Colleges can sign up to 3000 players in February 2013 (120 x 25 = 3000), and you're upset that he's not in the top .33%.
For all we know, Rivals might think he's the #12 or #15 player in the country. And you're still upset.
Get a grip.

your lucidity is clearly unwelcomed in this discussion.

Logic has no place in this thread

When am I going to learn my lesson?
December 31st, 2011 at 2:22 PM ^
I have to concur.
December 31st, 2011 at 10:41 AM ^
if he isn't in the top 99.67% of his recruiting class, he just isn't Michigan material.
