Is a better player than the butterfly (as he turns the ball over as I type). Having them both however would have made us a lock as a top 10 team all year.

Canceled out. They're both pure points. Can only have one on the floor at the same time.
We got real lucky with Burke (or rather, Beilein did a real good job scouting). If we didn't have a freshman beyond his years, we'd be running the same gimmick offense we were two years ago instead of the more appealing PG-oriented sets JB switched to last season.
EDIT: Flamebait. Hahahaha. What a board.

Do you think Burke would have moved to the 2 or come off the bench? He's a sweet point guard, but I don't know how much effectiveness would have been lost if he was playing out of position.
At the same time, I couldn't imagine that Beilein would have limited Burke (one of our three best players in that scenario) to only 8-10 minutes a game relieving Morris.

I hope Burke learns how to stay out of foul trouble. We really need him out there.

IU up 7 on UK with 13 to go. That would be a huge upset.

I absolutely love this rsult. It's been a long time since I saw a UM team score 90 points in a game. For the most part our games are played in the 50 to 66 points range. It's no secret that Beilein emphasizes shooting (offense). We haven't had the personel here in recent years to put up the kind of numbers his offensive system can generate. But it seems we are turning the corner....Great job guys!
