Playcalling is excellent sofar. The unleashing of Denard looks good & the line is creating holes and giving shoelace time to make throws downfield...

NU/Um game thread? I dont' want to start one if you got this going...
That said, yeah Borges is doing a bang up job with the playcalling

It doesn't give me the ability to change the thread, mybad.

I was not a fan of the fake WR screen, throwback RB screen play that got picked.
Seems to cute to me and is asking Denard to quickly turn back to his left and throw a touch pass in traffic. I know Denard needs to make a better decision there, but the coaches are not putting him in a good position on that play IMO.
Other than that I have liked our gameplan so far.

The one tipped INT was a touchdown if it was a foot higher. It was actually an amazing play call. Hopkins ran a wheel that took the corner and they ran a screen under it we had Lewan, Schofield, and Molk against 0 guys. Just a great play by the DE

It's almost like he told DENARD to do whatever he wanted. DENARD is let loose! Watch out world!

Playcalling sucked on the two final drives it's like he was content bleeding clock instead of scoring with ball near mid field in a one possession game.

I am somewhat ok with that because they didn't want to force something and possibly give Nebraska a turnover and momentum. That being said if you aren't going to run hurry up just kneel the ball. Don't run hurry up and then take 20 seconds between 2nd and 3rd down.

I think you nailed it

<br>Overall though, good game an good line play on both sides. Omameh felt Brians wrath when it came to pulling. Today he pulled well and led to some big plays

I haven't been the biggest Borges fan, but he's been pretty impressive this game.

I am totally with Brian. Every time I saw Denard go under center, I SCREAMED at the TV. Nothing works from there, please stop!!!!!
That being said. Great job Gorgeous Al, glad to see last years Offense back.

We scored at least 2 touchdowns from under center today. But hey, that wouldn't fit your argument, so why not ignore it.

The running backs didn't run for 139 yards under the old offense...
I know what you mean, though, in that you prefer shotgun for Denard. He made better reads and Nebraska couldn't bring pressure on him.
