Um, what the title says:
@JordanPayton Jordan PaytonI will not be making my decision tomorrow.

Let me be the Nth person (where N = very large number) to ask:
WTF is it with ND? How are they able to recruit well after being mediocre for so long? Does *tradition* mean that much?

Isn't that the only way we can get recruits the last couple of years? It hasn't been because we are winning.

...20 years > 3 years

I just did the math. He's right.

I find it rather amusing to picture Brian Kelly recruiting. Maybe it's because I can only picture him when his face is about to asplode.

Lets hope *tradition* means that much!
We sure as hell arent recruiting based off our recent success...

is that regardless of tradition, Kelly is a douche and shows it at every opportunity. Why do kids want to go play for a coach inclined to publicly humiliate and brow-beat his players?

That's the part I really don't get. Maybe they think being on national tv all the time will make up for it... or they think that it won't happen to them (every teenager is immortal right?), but Kelly clearly appears to have no respect for his players.

That sucks. It means that ND is definitely in the debate. I do think that as others visit, like Darboh, spots may start to disappear. First come, first serve.

Throw me in with the "It's a big decision and there's no reason to panic" crowd. If he picks M there will be much rejoicing. If he picks ND, then so be it and we'll move on to other recruits. There are other receivers out there and it ain't our lives.(even if signing onto a class with three other receivers when UM has a definite need would seem a little strange).

I have a feeling that a great WR or two in America will want to jump onto the greatest team of all time. Especially with an opportunity to start instantly and work with 4&5 star QBs. Likewise with running back(s) and a 4/5 star O-line.

he reads that article about ND giving up and the lack of game management. I love me some Brian meltdown Kelly.

If I was a WR recruit the fact that Michigan is 99th in the country in passing yards and our leading receiver has only 397 yards (tied for 114th) would scare me a little bit.

Do you suppose Jordan Payton is reconsidering USC, not ND? After all, they were the other team playing on Saturday night and he was committed to them previously.

Stefon Diggs now has time to get things in order and fill out the class. Ace, please prepare that hello post, too.

My feeling is that Jordan Payton will end up in the Michigan uniform. He seems like a bright kid and, I think, when the excitement of the ND visit wears off and he evaluates both programs, he'll realize that, overall, Michigan is the better choice. Both ND and Michigan are top universities with great campuses but at Michigan he'll have a better chance of starting than at ND. ND has its share of big receivers (This year's class has Chris Brown, Deontay Greenberry and Justin Ferguson. Last year's class has Davaris Daniels) already whereas Michigan has a lot of smaller slot-types (last year we had zero receiver commits, and this year we have zero commits, thus far). Other than Stonum and Ricardo Miller (who I have yet to see getting any significant playing time) there are not too many guys on the Michigan roster that fit the role of the big/possession-type of receiver that Payton will likely end up playing in college. Not to mention that Brian Kelly likes to turn into a blueberry and spit on his players. What recruit wants Kelly drool on his face?
