Mr. Optimistic - Coach Jackson
Always a positive force. Fun read on Coach J and his love for the freshman RBs.

I'm sure Fred Jackson usually praises his players, but you could not give more positive feedback than that. Superlatives. This is exciting to read. Thanks.

So Fitz really is a myth. Rawls looks as put together as any back we have other than Cox. I say throw their names in a hat and pull one every week.

No comparisons to Michigan legends (or sci-fi hybrids of multiple former greats), NFL Hall of Famers, or comic book super heroes.
These guys must really suck.

I once met Coach Jackson, and after speaking with him for five minutes, he told me I was like Aristotle but a much better orator, and then he said he didn't have time for my simple talk! IF a running back isn't Jesus, but better at water walking, we're in trouble.
Love Coach Jackson SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much. Best thing ever to happen to M football.

This praise wasn't nearly over the top enough to meet the Jacksonian Standard.
But maybe there's hope because of a regime change? Perhaps Hoke has weighed in on a new era for coach speak?
That said, I doubt it. The Jackson Standard existed even during Carr.

Fullback John McColgan won't be among the best who has ever played at Michigan, but he's been good.Coming from Jackson, this is downright vicious.

My thoughts exactly. Maybe he just hates fullbacks?

Not really related but Go Blue Wolverine has 3 galleries of pictures from media day. Kenny Demens looks pretty beastly!

Demens looks like he's about to make the reporter eat his microphone

Head coach Brady Hoke has brought a new toughness to the program, Jackson said, and it's rubbing off.
