ND ticket strategy

Submitted by HAIL 2 VICTORS on

I would appreciate anyones advice about acquiring tickets for this years ND game.

*Have season ticket holders received their tickets and if not when will they?

*Considering price and demand better to buy now on stub-hub/other service or wait?

*I had luck using Craig's list last year but I see nothing this year anywhere including the student section where I really wanted to find tickets.

Appreciate any and all feedback about tickets for ND-I live out of state so very nervous about trying to find a pair on game day please advise.

Whenever Michigan is playing, it's night time somewhere!

See? No big deal. Just watch the game on television and pretend, like 5,000,000 people will, that you DID go to the game!

Heck, with today's modern technology making such BS believable, you can "post" from the "game" telling us insightful things like, "The band sounds great!" "There are a LOT of people here!" "There are some Notre Dame fans I'm going to beat up!" "It's loud!" and, of course, "Aw crap. We lost"

I haven't been up there since 2003, and haven't bought a ticket on the street since 1997, but the only time I ever got shut out of a game I tried to attend was Notre Dame.  TSIO tickets are easier to find on gameday than ND tickets are.

You can almost always find tickets an hour or two before game time for very close to face value, simply by hanging out at a local watering hole and asking.  The scalping mafia hangs out a lot closer to the stadium or along the busier, main incoming routes, and they don't get enough "bang for their buck" by hanging out at a bar for tickets because the volume is too low.

That being said, if I was still up there and could get an ND ticket for an affordable price before the game, I would take it.  It's probably the only game for which I would not be 100 percent confident of finding a ticket on gameday.

I have always had good luck with eBay... Better get your wallet ready because those tickets will not be cheap. I'm guessing $175 each for end zone seats.
