Are Pryor, etc. Suspensions Finalized?
At the risk of ridicule, are Pryor and the other suspended Buckeye's suspensions actually finalized? I know the NCAA denied the appeal of their suspensions, but I'm unclear whether or not the revelation about Tressel covering up the violations was taken into consideration. When the Committee meets to determine his fate, is Pryor's final year at stake as well?
It seems obvious that the players played an entire season while ineligible and with the NCAA's tendency to mete out eye for an eye type punishment, is their whole season in jeopardy?
them more they will find. The O$U program is a miners dream.
I'm happy you know where you live.
They should be supersized and galvanized. The players should be declared permanently ineligible and all wins from when they first started "taking" should be vacated. Let's see how difficult Pryor finds it to get a "loaner" from the dealership when he has no eligibility left.

Why, exactly, should their eligibility be gone? They were suspended five games, which is in line with every recent punishment for a similar offense. I challenge you to name one case where selling memorabilia for ~$2,500 worth of services cost an athlete his NCAA career.
This is not the players fault; they made stupid, stupid mistakes. The coverup is Tressel's, as are the lies and the cheating.
that there has been no notice of investigation yet? So right now, the only investigation going on is OSU looking at itself. Not to say a NOI isn't on it's way, it could be but without it, the entire timeline is protracted. To put this in perspective, Tennessee got their NOI in September of 2010 and they go before the infractions committee in June 2011. So roughly 9 months from NOI to infractions hearing (and they will not happen during any specified season). So for OSU, the current penalties will be the only penalties for 2011 unless the NCAA doesn't investigate and simply adds a token punishment to get it over with. If there is an investigation and associated punishment, it will won't effect any of the Tat5 players or the 2011 season. Anyone who thinks otherwise is not familiar with how the NCAA operates.
