I have tried the online

I have tried the online dynasty with people I don't know and it simply doesn't work, well, unless everyone has cell phone numbers or e-mail address to stay in contact. It's just too difficult IMO.

The 2007 team should have

The 2007 team should have went undefeated. No excuses for that terrible season. They were built to win a title.

I live in Ohio and my plate

I live in Ohio and my plate says UM4LIFE. It has a M plate frame also.

MGoPlans

My MGoPlans start tonight. We are having an MGoCookout (MGoBurgers and some others MGoYums) with some MGoBeer.

Tomorrow is my MGoNiece's sixth birthday party.

Friday will feature MGoDayDrinking and then going to a Japanese hibachi grill for some excellent MGoFood.

Saturday is the annual MGoFourthOfJuly party at an MGoFriend's house, which should be fun.

Sunday will be a day to MGoRelax and watch the MGoWimbledon men's final.

Looks like the "win at all

Looks like the "win at all costs" mentality is still in effect at Ohio.

I hate to break it to

I hate to break it to everyone outside of Wolverine Nation, but Michigan is going to beat Ohio this year.

EDIT: Wow, just realized the Gator Bowl is fifth place Big Ten team. Is Steele insane? No way in hell M finishes fifth. Our team is good and the schedule is favorable. I expect at LEAST ten regular season wins. I'm sick of being worried about the upcoming season and Ohio. Fuck this. This is Michigan and I say bring anyone on. I'm extremely confident that M will have a great season.

Ohio is going to crush NW.

Ohio is going to crush NW. This is my guarantee. Everyone wants to hype that game, but I say Ohio wins by at least two touchdowns.

Soon, amigo mio. It will be

Soon, amigo mio. It will be here before you know it. It's already July, which is usually the worst month of the year (unless you like baseball, which I absolutely loathe), but once August gets here, it will be so much better.

This literally made me laugh

This literally made me laugh aloud.

I have had a countdown app on

I have had a countdown app on my phone, which is counting the time left until the season, so I appreciate this post; however, mine is set to stop at the time of that first night game on Thursday night on ESPN. College football is college football and I will take it any way I can.

It sounds like football is

It sounds like football is around just to get you by for basketball season, which is the opposite the way it works in Ann Arbor.

I have one climalite shirt

I have one climalite shirt from a few years back. The material is soft, but it also has a lot of static. Perhaps it depends on the way you wash it, but that is one reason I don't like it too much. It's a very light material, which is nice for a warm day.

I suppose I like these

These are the only two items I would purchase and perhaps I will after taking a second look.

I can see why that stuff is on sale. Nothing in their tent sale appeals to me.

First of all, creating a

First of all, creating a thread about Dan on a well-known M blog is exactly what he wants because it causes people to interact with him, which in turn leads to more people listening to his show. This is like Drew Sharp...he knows he is a prick, but likes it that way and so do their bosses.

Second of all, if he can't handle the "bad mouting," then he needs to get off Twitter and grow some thicker skin. He is using his position as a radio guy to attempt to make himself look better because he knows you won't be able to respond again. I highly doubt he would put you on the air because he is a scared coward.

Sorry to burst their bubble,

Sorry to burst their bubble, but M is going to the Rose Bowl and beating Ohio. I know everyone is guaranteeing Ohio ti beat us...twice nonetheless, but we will at least win the game that matters more...the one in Indy.

true

Well, yeah. That is a good point. I will just have to follow their respective schedules to see when they're on national television. NY definitely has a lot of games on ESPN or TNT though, considering they have Carmelo (as overrated as I think he is).

Now I have reasons to watch

Now I have reasons to watch Utah and New York NBA games. Normally I don't watch the NBA because it's not nearly as good as it was in the 90s, but it will be fun watching two of my favorite M players.

I assure you that I read it,

I assure you that I read it, but I was simply stating a mere fact. You're NOT going to find cheap tickets to the Ohio game.

Now, where will you find them the "cheapest?" I have no clue. You have to check all sources for that. No one knows where you can find them the cheapest. Every source (athletic department, Craig's List, eBay, etc.) varies annually.

While I think Tressel and

While I think Tressel and Ginn Sr. had some sort of "wink wink" agreement (which involved some cash) to funnel Glenville kids to Ohio, having RR didn't help our recruiting one bit. I think it was pretty clear that Ohio coaches didn't like and/or respect RR, which really hurt our Ohio recruiting when he was here.

You're not going to find

You're not going to find cheap tickets to the Ohio game.

I can't wait to get off work

I can't wait to get off work at 5:00. There are several of these in my fridge waiting for me.

You voted for a play that

You voted for a play that involved a DE hitting a RB when he wasn't even touched by the offensive linemen? If Clowney shed a block or two and still made that hit, sure, it would be great, but it wasn't that great of a play because he wasn't even close to being blocked. The best part about that play was Vince's standing almost right away.

don't care

If he picks Ohio, move on. We don't need a thread about every kid who commits to the Buckeyes.

EDIT: Also, we were all smart enough to know that he wasn't picking M, so again, no thread necessary.

I have stated this numerous

I have stated this numerous times. It's not the OT threads I have an issue with, rather it's the copious amounts of MSU and Ohio threads.

Perhaps, but if that is true,

Perhaps, but if that is true, I have to believe more people would do that. Maybe it's just that most people are willing to sacrifice picture quality for channels, which is crazy to me considering half (or more probably) of the shows on TV these days are shitty reality garbage. I don't understand the obsession this country has with reality shows and it cannot end soon enough.

I have not purchased anything

I have not purchased anything from Best Buy in the longest time (Amazon FTW). I also have never purchased Monster cables. Why? Because they're over priced. I always read Consumer Reports or CNET reviews when it comes to electronics and just about every report has concluded that all HDMI cables are virtually the same; there is no need to waste money on brands like Monster just because their sales reps say their cable produces higher quality picture.

I realize there are things

I realize there are things called "HDTV antennas," but they are nowhere near the quality of HD that a company can provide.

What do you mean, "that's

What do you mean, "that's what Comcast gets..."

You're the consumer and chose to pay them. They didn't force you into that. Anyway, I guarantee you that you're not getting high definition with an antenna. You think you are, but it's not HD. The only way to get HD cable is via a cable company. You need an HD box (and satellite with those companies) to obtain the signal.

60" television...that's

60" television...that's cute

I have an 80" one.

Before you neg me, I was just busting your balls. Sorry.

Most, if not all, companies

Most, if not all, companies have that bundle, which makes it a better deal. I have DIRECTV and they don't have Internet, rather they have a partnership with AT&T for their Internet service. I really wanted to get AT&T U-Verse, but for some stupid reason, I can only get their Internet on my street. They keep saying they don't have the necessary cable connections on the telephone poles on my street. I keep thinking, "then put them on!" How fucking hard is it? There are people who want their TV service along with Internet, but they won't answer the wishes of said people. I don't understand it. I am sure I could get a better deal with their TV and Internet rather than going through DIRECTV. I am paying about $140-$150 a month (I don't recall the exact amount) for TV and Internet. It was higher, but I recently dropped HBO (for now, until Boardwalk Empire starts again, then I will drop it again and get it again when Game of Thrones starts) and downgraded my Internet speed.

I'm not a big TV watcher

I'm not a big TV watcher either, but the wife is, as she watches a TON of shows pretty much every night of the week. During the peak season of her shows, the DVR is usually her garbage shows, but right now it's mostly my stuff. I don't watch many shows, but could live without certain ones I do watch. The shows I NEED to have are Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones.

The sports thing would be a problem for me, too. I know I could stream (legally or illegaly, well for me right now it's illegally because I don't have access to Watch ESPN) games, but during football season, I am the guy who watches twelve hours (sometimes more depending on the west coast schedule) of football every Saturday. I love having access to all the games on TV and I just won't get the same experience on my Macbook Pro. I know I can get them on my TV and also connect my computer to the TV, but it just would not be the same, especially for football. I need that high definition, super surround sound. I have an 80" television in the basement and during football season, that thing is extra special.

So, I would love to save that much money, but I just can't do it. My TV watching is very seasonal. Most of it is simply to watch sports and what I care most about is college football.
