Baxter, you know I don't speak spanish. In English please.

Don't Worry

Don't worry there's even Mo Ways to tell that joke

Glass Half Full

Glass half full - we've got an extrodinary run defense.

Glass half empty - we still have no running game.

Derrick Green fills glass - I really hope he can fill that glass...

Gold Star

Excellent diary Mosher. Content like this is what makes and will continue to make this "blog" the best collegiate athletic site on the interwebs. Thorough analysis and a fresh and interesting perspective from a long time member and first time diarist. Gold Star for you MJ.

TVH

TVH on ESPN's national signing day chat about Speight:

@James - First of all, what a good kid. He is really polite, well spoken and comes off very personable. He's around 6-5, 6-6 and Michigan watched him throw recently. He's had interest from big schools like USC recently, I think this is a great pickup for Michigan this early.

Trust the staff

Just trust the staff, they've earned it.

Dave Brandon

Dave Brandon just got a hard on looking at that third one, and is set to announce Capitol One as a presenting sponsor - MOAR advertising plz

Well played sir...

Wow, well played sir...

There's a reason

Brian stops charting in garbage time. Although well intentioned, this doesn't really provide a whole lot of insight....

Harry agrees...

Football

Has to be football. Only thing comparable would be if Johnny B accomplished this same feat in year one with all of Amaker's recruits. Can't say enough how remarkable the job Hoke and the staff did this year

The reason Funk has been so

The reason Funk has been so successful is because the message the coaching staff is sending best reflects the personalities of OL recruits. The ideals of toughness, disipline, technique, responsibility, brotherhood, etc. are what make exceptional lineman. This doesn't always resonnate well with glamour positions.

Plus, he's just a hell of a recruiter.

Borges

I know Hoke and Mattison get alot of the press, and their work speaks for itself on defense and along the offensive line. But now its time for Borges to shine - lets do some work on the offensive skill positions! I know he's great with QB's and TE's but how historically has he done with WR and RB?

You hit it right on the head.

You hit it right on the head. Some former athletes are great color guys, some are great studio analysts - rarely both, mostly neither. Jalen is great in studio but felt like a fish out of water at times. Regardless why is he calling a Michigan game? We bitch about Bilas' bias, but we have one of our most vocal supporters calling one our our games on national TV?

Sounds like territory for an

Sounds like territory for an Obama joke - if that was allowed on this site of course

Good Goal

Good to see the kid has set the bar high for himself. If he's succesful in his goal that can only mean good things for U of M, and with what's looking like another stellar recruiting class at LB (leading for three 4/5 stars, 2 @ OLB) and three other studs around him in the 12' class I'm sure we'll be fine.

Also coming out of Cass Tech school district good to see he's putting a priority on helping his family lead a better life - the best kind of motivation you can have!

Sub Commenting

This is the furthest subreply I've ever seen somebody in a reply section, I litterally have no idea what the original topic was.

That is all.

Optomistic....

Three goals against the Italian D? Away from home? With they way we've been playing and Klinsman pulling the strings? Best hope is 1-0 Italian own goal.

USA USA USA!!
