Rich Rod's Support by Victors Club Member(s) I can't speak for all Victors Club members, especially the highest rollers. I will speak for myself, a mid-level Victorsub Club member, M Club member, double degree grad, and triple M parent. As much as I liked Lloyd, he left the cupboard pretty bare on the defensive side. Rich Rod has succeeded everywhere he has been and I like how G Rob used every play as a teaching moment. I think he will eventually succeed. That said, if we don't get to a bowl game next year I think the pressure will be exceedingly great to make a move. The problem with doing that is that we are now committed to the spread personnel-wise. It would be difficult to make a change unless things really to south.
Pitt as the 12th Big 10 team I saw a comment that the Pitt basketball coach was not supportive of Pitt joining the Big 10. What a surprise! Pitt plays in a premier basketball conference and the Big 10 allows its officials to allow a style of play (10% less physical than football) that virtually assures that most Big 10 teams can't compete in the NCAA tournament (with the exception of MSU of course). In what other conference would Wisconsin get away with playing that style of basketball?
ESPN 's Full Court Press Against Leach It seems like ESPN has given Patrick and Davis a script to bash Leach every chance they get. Do they realize that there is a game going on? There opinions are so one-sided that it is offensive. Today they are relying upon affidavits of employees of Texas Tech who having every reason to protect the university from Leach's anticipated lawsuit. All week ESPN has given Craig James opportunity after opportunity to tell his side of the story. James is, of course, the same guy who took benefits to play for SMU which helped SMU get the death penalty. Does anybody else think that ESPN's coverage is entirely lacking in ethics? Finally, I hope State gets killed.
