Could we get the 24/7 composite stars or rankings added to the chart?

Is this some kind of performance art? There's not a single cogent argument there, just bland Pam Ward-level cliche. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Do a google image search - this is concept art from some random dude.
Scroll down to JJSCOTT's last post. I suppose it's conceivable that he's doing guerilla research on behalf of the AD, but I doubt it.

That's a fair point, and I should've moderated my language a bit more. I do think the author was more making a point on how stupid Scout vs. Rivals flame wars are than defending ESPN.

Your analysis suffers from small sample size. When all of D1 is examined, ESPN falls behind significantly, per this article: http://thomasgoldkamp.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&catid=4:sports&id=17:the-recruiting-project

Even better, with Adblock Plus you can block _all_ avatars, making the board significantly more readable.

Great article. My only critique is that the metric you analyze is FEI rank. I think the raw FEI numbers would be a better metric to compare than the ranks. It likely wouldn't change any of your conclusions, though, so it's a somewhat irrelevant point.

I agree. I'm not endorsing Harbaugh over RR nor vice versa, merely supporting Brian's point that Brandon has a difficult decision to make. I think Brandon has two excellent options to choose from.
|5 years 22 weeks ago||I wholeheartedly cosign this||
I wholeheartedly cosign this entire post. Harbaugh's excellence as a candidate is the only reason to consider firing RR.

That he's talking about it like this probably means it's a done deal and that he's just preparing the fan base.

Showing the difference between 4-3, under, and over might be a good addition.

What's more, he posted it at 3 in the morning, most likely to get maximum views before someone removes it.
This diary concept really needs a minimum point threshold if they're to have such a prominent page position, or else trolls like this will continue to exploit it.

Of course we're cheering him on when he's in the game, you jackass. He's a Wolverine. Whether or not we want him to play has nothing to do with wishing him well. Grow up.

The "empirical evidence" shows he is an acceptable NFL-caliber DC at worst.

"Commence panic?" I love this hire. Football Outsiders ranked his first year's defense at Denver #28 in the league, and his second year's #2. The man knows his Xs and Os.
|7 years 16 weeks ago||I do not think you know what the word statistical means||
There is an almost immeasurable amount of statistical evidence that Stevie Brown will be better. The vast majority of players in the history of college football have improved with age and experience.
Of course, a little better than awful could still be pretty damn bad.

Depending on the degree of IT lockdown, you could try Portable Firefox. It's a no-install version.

Wow. When people mock us for being arrogant, they're referring to jackasses like yourself.

You simply cannot make a post like that without including this scene from an Iowa win:
"Pink locker room!"

"Mesko has an incredibly strong leg. He kicked three straight 62-yard field goals in practice and his hang-time on punts was 5.2 seconds. Not bad seeing that professional punters average 4.7 hang-time on their punts."
I guess I understand why everyone is getting excited over this guy now. I wonder if we'll see Mesko doing kickoffs like Nienberg did with that huge leg.
|11 years 15 weeks ago||So are there any Michigan||
So are there any Michigan boards that use a modern bulletin board system that doesn't force you to use that awful threaded view?
The Wolverine doesn't count; the signatures are so huge that it's impossible to read outside of threaded mode, and I can't figure out if it's possible to browse in flat mode at Go Blue Wolverine.

|11 years 17 weeks ago||Great summary; I agree with||
Great summary; I agree with everything. Massey's missed sack has made me swear loudly at the TV each of the four times I've seen it replayed.
One Michigan mistake I think you missed was on our last possession:
After (another) great return by Breaston and three straight solid runs by Hart, it's 3rd and 2 at the Texas 25, about 3 minutes left. It's about a 42 yard field goal from here.
Our best possession receiver is out.
We've got a superb fullback.
We've got the Remington award winner at center.
Our star receiver has a propensity to drop short, easy passes.
Our tailback is running very well this quarter.
We need to bleed the clock.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, RUN THE BALL!
We get that first down, give it to Hart three more times, and not even Vince Young would've had enough time to score.
Gah. On the whole, I like how Malone coached the offense. That flea flicker was a brilliant call, even though Henne overthrew it.
My question is this: If Hermann gets fired, was it worth the loss? I say yes.
