Anyway, I’m doing some reminiscing because my son is now deceased and stumbled across this post from the past. I just want this post to be accurate so I’m writing a reply now. Otherwise in 100 yrs, some random crazy Michigan fan (like I am) could see the inaccurate assumption that Mr Mehrer was posting about his son. I wasn’t. The cool part for me is somebody other than me thought my kid kicked ass! That’s pretty cool for a regular guy like me. We fricking hoped and prayed he would get an offer from Rich Rod but Steve had major reconstructive shoulder surgery (for labrum, rotator cuff et al.) 2 weeks after this post and ended up at Kent State. Let’s Go Blue!
Hi and sorry for the “delayed” response but you did say we’d have to wait and see the quality of Central Ohio football. Well, Hilliard Davidson from the OCC won the title in 2009. So much for pathetic competition. Sometimes it is better to just “wait and see”.
