Starters Four guys from our opening season starting lineup didn't play today and we blew them out (yes I know chatman technically was in the game)
Big brother Getting upset by stake gate was a move by a little brother. But us apologizing is a move by a big brother who gets picked on by his little brother. I think I'm more sad by this then the game
Evan smotrycz Thj had somewhat of a sophomore slump too. I think beilein is a genius too. Not a magician. If we expect everyone to always improve we'll be disappointed. Burke and stauskas were mentally stronger than a lot of these other guys and once in a generation player. Levert is mentally strong. Walton seems so too. Just not everyone will be.
Why Hoke needs to go...

It would have been nice to know Hoke's thought process for leaving Morris in the game, besides the fact that "he is a competitor." Wish someone would have asked...

"I understand Morris is a competitor, but it was the 3rd quarter you're down two scores, Morris had 49 yards passing and was hobbling around on one leg.  What made you think that Morris gave you the best option to win at that point with a bum ankle?"

It is for this reason he needs to be fired.

Comment bashing

@incrediblyblue - This is a blog, and Brian can share his views.  And for him, it's gotten to the point where his views are to fire Hoke.  And 95% of the people that come to this site follow Brian and his views.  I don't agree with bashing his columns. I also do not agree with bashing comments. So...

@everyoneelse - incrediblyblue doesn't share the same views as 95% of the people on the blog.  That doesn't mean you should bash his views.  One of the posters wants to "ban" him for having different views.  That is absurd and makes me ashamed to be a Michigan fan (on top of the administration and product on the field).

I come to this site to read good posts, read comments that share my thoughts and bring up facts that back my views and then hear facts that may be contrary.  You may not agree with other people's views.  And some people are stubborn and won't change their views.  You just have to listen to it, post counter arguments, and let the facts speak.  People will choose one side or the other based on their beliefs.

Doesn't mean we should "shut them down."  Please stop the bashing.  You are the ones ruining this site.  Not Brian.

Well said but... When you win what you're doing is working so people can't complain. Fans just want change and adjustment when something doesn't work. So I can't blame the bloggers. Hoke has shown very little if any mid game adjustments, and minimal mid season adjustments. We can't just wait around to next off season and hope there are adjustments. He needs to keep adjusting to keep us happy. Staying the course isn't working. When he wins we'll stop complaining.
Mini NCAA Exaggerating, but expansion creates mini NCAA s. Is a Wisconsin team that has a cake walk season and wins regular season the true champ? Or a mich team with the toughest schedule, finishes second, wins tournament? Not sure the answer. But just like the NCAA the champ isn't always the best team. I guess just have to be proud about what you accomplish each season regardless of what it means. Expansion just dilutes conferences and the meaning of a "true champ"
B10 regular season With all these teams the regular season is really just for seeding now. Winning the regular season can't mean as much with the schedules so unbalanced. Winning the big ten tournament determines the true b10 champ.
2014-15 Team

We'll have three top 30 guys (Walton, Irvin, Chatman), a pre-season all-american (Levert), and a top 80 guy who had a year to beef up and learn the system (Donnal) starting.  Then, an experienced pg off the bench, another top 80 athletic big (Wilson), and two more servicable bigs (Doyle and Beifeldt).  If that isn't a contender for a big 10 title next year with Beilein at the helm, then I don't know what is.  Wisconsin's line-up may have more experience, but they aren't scaring our line-up.

After seeing Chatman at the Jordan game, I'm feeling good about next year.  And good riddance to Horford...he'd be a 15-20 min guy on next year's team by December.

Most athletes

do they just count 30 days before the tournament and stop smoking?  Seems easy enough.  One of McGary's friends must have been paid off by a State fan to get McGary to smoke.  That's the real story here....

Colorado St.

What happens if a player from Colorado St. tests positive?  The NCAA needs to update these rules and get with the times.  If McGary was found at a bar with a beer, does the NCAA follow the prohibition rules from the 20s??
