Friend of a friend was at an event that Harbaugh spoke at prior to his camp today. I guess the apparel quest got brought up and Harbaugh said it'll be Nike.
GET RID OF THE LEDEND PATCHES. Honor the best of the best with a "Ring of Honor" or whatever you want to call it. Throw their names up on the pressbox for everyone to see, but don't retire the number -- many great players have and will wear #1, #2, #21, etc.
Moving him to the Starting Rotation really seemed to mess him up. Maybe a change of scenerary and a new pitching coach can get him back to being what he was. It's a smart sign by Dave. If it works out, awesome. If not, who cares.
The hype around offering Sills is cool and all, but he isn't coming here. Offer Dillman. 5* out of Cali who wants to come and could help bring other West Coast talent to AA.
I could see Mark Dantonio getting looked at by Texas, Floirda, and other high profile schools. If Dantonio leaves EL, I think MSU could hire Narduzzi as their new HC. And I think we can all agree that Saban isn't going anywhere. He has too much of a good thing at Bama (if he does, maybe we'll get Hand though!!).
Michigan's jerseys looked so much better as oppose to the current under Adidas. Adidas makes some crappy football jerseys, but I do like their basketball and soccer products. Nike and Under Armour would be prefered in my book.
I know Chris quite well and it was last Tuesday when he told me he'd be starting against Minnesota. The coaches told him Monday after the UConn game. They have obviously known for awhile that they were going to make the move. Furthermore, Chris said that his knee has been fine ever since it was drained, but it's been his shoulder. He actually had a pack of ice on it last time I saw him, but said it feels better and he feels as healthy as ever. It'll be nice to see the big fella out there moving DTs every which way.
Has to be Penn State. Everyone loves what O'Brien is doing there. Hackenberg is going to be a stud. Devin could be going for the Heisman. The media could eat that game up.
Remember last time Michigan and PSU played a "late" game at Michigan Stadium? Super Mario Manningham caught a TD pass to win the game with no time left on the clock.
I can't recall which comment, but someone said that John U. Bacon only supports underperformers - Rich Rod and the students. What would the game day atmosphere be like without the students? As a rising senior at Michigan, I wholeheartedly feel that we make the crowd what it is. Between the 20s are old and lifeless ticket holders that make as much noise as a passed out kid at Phi Psi. The Big House would be very dull without the passion and cheering the students add to the gameday experience. Furthermore, the students, especially Seniors and Juniors, are very upset with the GA seating. Although I will be at the game (haven't missed a home game since 2004), it wouldn't surprise me if a bunch of students don't show up in a rebellious act. Should be interesting. A lot of fights may break out between upper and lower classmen as many 2014 and 2015 feel entitled to be seated closer to the field.
I agree with the comment that we are blessed to watch Michigan football and there is no bad seat in the Big House, but it's principle. Upperclassmen before us had to wait their time to get closer to the field and we have waited ours. I, personally, am always in the stadium nearly an hour to 45 minutes prior to game time. I like watching warm-ups and love watching the band come out of the tunnel. I don't get the students that don't show up on time because there is no excuse for it.
For a problem with GA seating, all you have to do is look at the MSU student section. Granted they aren't nearly as good of fans as us since they are a 'basketball' school, but the upper bowl is never full. If students know they aren't going to be close to the field, they simply decide to keep drinking and not show up. I fear that may happen here at Michigan, too. We shall see, but I have a feeling the GA idea may get revoked or at least I'm going to pray for it.
None of the students care about donuts, we want to tailgate with our friends and sit with our friends too without waiting in line for hours. Going into my senior year, I have waited my time and want my seating group near the field.
Linebacker is one position of depth for Michigan. Joe Bolden could move over, Cam Gordon could step in, or Mike McCray could earn the spot in fall camp.
I do see the potential log-jam at DE with Strobel, Ojemudia, Godin, Clark, Heitzman, and Black (at times). I guess it is not a bad decision as Jake Ryan played with his hand his on the ground at times - Beyer gives Mattison that option. I do, however, question Brennen's speed as he has been bulking up.

What are the chances Cole Huff could get a waiver from the NCAA to play right away after his transfer? Brian mentioned it on his post earlier.
I'm pretty sure Jeremy Jackson was a senior this past fall. He came to UM the same year I did.

Dave Brandon prefers to have his students in the upper bowl rather than around the court...

BRING IN LANE KIFFIN AS THE OC!!

Can anyone find a link to stream the game? Meetings and class are impacting my ability to watch the game from the comfort of my couch.

Ben Howland should listen to this cover song by Michigan Club Soccer star, Lauren Jbara, to feel better... https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=azNt7erq8y4 (I'm not sure how to embed).
Mitch McGary and Jacob Trouba both listen to this during pregame warm-ups to get in the right mindset! Check her out.

Per Sam Webb - Crete (Ill.) LB Nyles Morgan was offered by Michigan today when coaches stopped into check up on LaQuon.
Download the roster from CK11 on XBOX 360, it's pretty damn good.
