I apologize, because I'm sure this has already been covered on the board, but does the EA cover image fall into the standard NCAA "we own your image for life" box, or is this in another category because Denard has graduated?  It'd be very nice for Denard to reap some financial reward after everything he's done in service to Michigan.

Doesn't it seem unwise for them to include the number of teams in their new conference name?  It's one thing if you have an older conference with a brand identity (e.g., Big Ten).  But if the artist formerly known as the Big East does this and there's further reallignment with teams bolting for the ACC/Big Ten/Big 12, then what?

11 weeks 4 days ago	I don't believe anyone	who says they're not going to watch this team for the rest of the season and post-season.  If we have a big win against Sparty or Indiana (I don't dare hope for both at this point), that'll get enough folks' attention.  This is one of the best Michigan teams I have ever seen.  They're probably not going to live up to expectations.  But I want to see what Trey Burke will do in his last several games in a Wolverine uniform.  And you know that you do, too.

I've heard about this place.  But it doesn't give a good gamewatching vibe from its website, which doesn't show a single TV anywhere.  I don't need a wall of video searing my retinas, but I'm also not wanting to squint at a tiny box in the corner.  What's it actually like for *watching* sports?
37 weeks 5 days ago	The official U of M bar,	The official U of M bar, which I won't bother naming, is awful.  It's a big space, but getting a drink is a 15 minute ordeal, and the bartenders tack all kinds of surprises onto the tabs they insist that you open.  I'd recommend BlackFinn, Penn Quarter Sports Tavern, or Redline if you're in your mid-20s or above.  There's always Rhino Bar or McFadden's if you prefer spending time with coeds in frat basement atmospheres (I do not).
