Soo damn true..
|5 weeks 3 days ago||Pretty positive||
Where UCLA plays is the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. I thought that was self explanatory
|5 weeks 3 days ago||Me being in Southern California and all..||
I never understood why USC got all the top talent. USC is called "University of South Central" by most people in California because not only is it located in a bad area, the campus resembles the area, along with the coliseum stadium old and in bad shape. It has nothing on Michigan. Heck, USC has nothing on UCLA either in beautiful Pasadena! It has to be the "pay for play" and "expensive" handshakes from Hollywood stars. Then again, Snoop Dogg shows them a green time as well.

2015 season is Michigan's true shot at the B1G championship at the very least. We will be breaking in a new QB in Shane but since he's been in the program 2yrs prior, he will be ready to take over. Especially having Nuss as OC for another year should make a smooth transition. Unless something crazy goes down (as stated above) 2015 should be the year to reclaim greatness.
|6 weeks 5 days ago||That is true..||
My opinion of course. Along with the B1G, the SEC had teams lower than ECU, and same can be said with other conferences. One thing that's not brought up is who did ECU play? Once they start playing in the ACC, I would like to see where ECU ranks then.

Muggsy! Brings me back to the 90's
|14 weeks 2 days ago||That's for sure||
I don't get the hatred. We would be in better shape on the football field if Les got his shot as the coach of Michigan after Carr. Imagine what Could of been.
|22 weeks 6 days ago||I wouldn't mind||
Every season coming down to us or Ohio for the BIG title. The Game equals BIG Champ. Of course a national title would be great or every other year a Rose Bowl berth. But I would really like Michigan just being dominant every year like an Alabama, w/o the cheating/over signing, as of late.

Has the old coach from central Michigan. Butch Jones kept CMU successful after Brian Kelly left for Cincy before coming to Dame, obviously. Very solid coach and knows the Midwest very well.

To rebuild depth and quality depth. Hoke came in looking 2 DTs along with all positions being very thin. Since this staff reversed that trend with great recruiting and adding quality players in the depth chart.. It all resides on producing this great talent we haven't had in years. Hopefully we can say the foundation is built after this season.
|23 weeks 10 hours ago||Our line compared to OSUs line last year? ?||
OSU had a great O-line last year. Hyde would look bad running behind our O-line last year. Adrian Peterson would look horrible behind our O-line last year. A lot rides on this years success and will have a huge impact in all areas.
|24 weeks 1 day ago||Well in 2011..||
We had a great defense over all. A DL holding the LOS, had gap discipline and a more than capable back 7. Mattisson felt he could call any blitz and coverage on any given down that year. While 2013 was the complete opposite, indeed. We didn't have a gap sound DL, nor a back seven that could play man l, or plain out any of the above, period. When the rush or blitz couldnt get to the QB, the back 7 were getting torched. Hence forth, the 8-10yd cushions and no aggressive play calling. I strongly believe 2013 was the last year we will see "bend don't break defense." We have talent coming in more than capable to play press-man coverage, as well as the young talent already on campus definitely more than capable. Growing pain hurt when a young team is on the field. But The foundation has been built the last 3 years and it's time for fruition of W's!
|24 weeks 2 days ago||Amen!||
I couldn't say it any better bluetimestwo! Agree completely.
|32 weeks 1 day ago||Good moves||
I know Hoke and Mattisson are very passionate of DLine positions. But with these moves, it gives one prominent voice in these position groups that is needed with young talent. Learn one way with no confusion or worries of miscommunication. Also, it gives more time for Hoke and Matti more time to evaluate not only other positions, but game plans, and ensuring all are on the same page. I completely agree with this move(s).

Comparison with the SEC. The playing field is NOT level, so how can we compare?? When the SEC is cut off from over signing football players, no more SEC teams averaging 30-35 signed players every time February comes around, and when Michigan can start adding college ready JUCO football players that can be a huge difference maker (like a Cam Newton) like these SEC teams can.. Let's talk comparisons of Michigan vs SEC when the whole playing field is actually level for once. Unfortunately, this is never brought up on espn and real reasons why the SEC has dominated the last 10 years in winning the most BCS Championships.

The 2014 season is here. Just to get the bad taste of 2013 permanently gone. I believe we have those Woodley, Martin, Watson, Graham types on the D-Line.. Along with the Woodson, Hall, Jackson, Law types of DB's to help that rush get there. It's only a short matter of time (2015 the latest) we will see a real Michigan defense on the field.
|32 weeks 5 days ago||Seriously||
If Malik is a party kid who gets easily influenced, I would rather him go commit elsewhere. I agree with Rather him going to FSU over Ohio or State though. We need high character/potential leaders of the future type guys.

It brings me joy to see what kind of people represent Michigan
|35 weeks 25 min ago||Really?||
Why do they continue horrible journalism at the free press? How about differences between SEC and B1G that leads to the unbalanced playing field we have today that even ESPN fails to even discuss. Examples: SEC teams can cut players, B1G honors scholarships (leads to B1G teams keeping flopped players or ones that didn't pan out on roster) cutting 18-20yr old players and pulling schollies is messed up. Example 2: every SEC team can grab JUCO transfers for immediate positive impact. Not only does it help the teams on the field but off as well ie:Michigans young o-line catastrophe of 2013. Forced to play true frosh who obviously weren't ready. Many advantages! I'll leave it at two examples.. I don't want bore my fellow UofM fans. But obviously, real journalism which contains actual facts and issues that need straightening would be a great read. Let's not click the free press link too many times now..
|35 weeks 1 hour ago||Harris||
Is staying Blue. Peppers did the same thing by giving everyone the silent treatment due to false rumors that spread about him, going as far as blasting on twitter for all to see "I don't want to talk to anyone. Unless your name is Sam Webb" #checkyoursources So Harris is in the same situation now as Peppers had been before and is probably sick of it as well. I don't blame him. I understand these are young kids in high school but being highly touted top 10 player in the country, so many people trying to contact you all the time 24-7 for multiple reasons, it takes a different type of kid to want to stay in the center of attention and Harris isn't one of those. I read about a full interview Harris did while camping for junior all star combine. Once I find it I will post the link. But In the interview Harris reaffirmed his verbal commitment and even though Borges' firing was a negative due to his close relationship he and his high school coach has with him, he is committed to Michigan. Harris went on to say his mother is the only person that can pursway him elsewhere but she's been on board with Michigan since there very first visit to Ann Arbor. All n all, I don't think we have anything to worry about.
|36 weeks 3 days ago||Great hire!||
Great hire indeed! Not only is he a great OC but a great QB developer as well. Devin is going to have a great year under him and the future is bright with him developing Shane.
|36 weeks 3 days ago||O.C.||
Clemsons O.C.- Chad Morris. Seems like a long shot though since considered a candidate for Louisville H.C. Job among other universities. Shramm from Fresno State would be a great O.C. As well
