Another book where John Bacon takes the 10% he has been given of the real story, and extrapolates that information into a new story that is not representative of reality, passing it off as 100% truth!
Harbaugh is out wearing a jacket with a huge M on it. Considering that he was just hired a couple days ago, I'm thinking he is pretty ok with people taking pictures of him.
My source also knows Tyrone personally, and said he wasn't incredibly interested. Unless something big has changed in the last couple days, he didn't seem interested.
Pretty awesome. I get the feeling that Harbaugh is about as genuine as it gets. Nothing about the $8 khakis is an act to appeal to the masses. Looking at the pictures, Harbaugh has the appearance of a semi awkward Midwesterner, and probably was a bit uncomfortable in California.
Hackett was already working in the AD with a "special assignment" under Brandon. Maybe this was something Brandon had in the works. And Brady Hoke was brought in simply as a stopgap before Harbaugh became available. This would make sense, because Hoke was a Carr guy, and the group of Bo guys had no problem sabotaging him and throwing him under the bus.
I wonder if Harbaugh to Michigan has been in the works for 12 months now. Ty Isaac was sent last year, so he would be eligible to play for Harbaugh's first year in town. Drevno probably agreed to this a year ago.
Have you actually heard anything which would indicate Wheatley as a probable addition to the staff? I said this in another post, but I have a family member who is actually personal friends with Wheatley, and he said in the past that he wasn't really interested in coming here if Harbaugh is coach.
I know it would be very convenient based on circumstances, but every piece of inside info I have says it's rather unlikely.
I absolutely will not change my avatar, and frankly am offended that someone would even ask. Mind your own business, pal.
The story is that Harbaugh is old school, he actually cares about the finished product. Just like RJ. Besides, Harbaugh has something like 7 kids. Methinks he would approve of the work RJ does.
Well there obviously hasn't been much turnover, and this has something to do with Harbaugh being a rockstar. The fact that Harbaugh is a proven great coach also helps a lot.
I have a family member who actually knows Wheatley personally. I found this news out before hearing about Marrone being fired, but Wheatley told him a few days ago that he doesn't think he would work well with Harbaugh. Their personal styles are far too different for it to ever work out.
Now he may take the job just because it's the best opportunity after losing his Buffalo gig, but personally he would prefer not to.
I don't really think of Oregon as an elite program either. They've never been close to winning a championship. The only reason he can beat Oregon is because he knows their system better than they do.
Rich Rod is showing his true colors. He's a mediocre coach who excels against bad competition. Pretty glad we came to our senses and got a real coach who will win championships.
Rich Rod to Michigan was a perfect example of the Peter Principle.

Where do I send my money?!?
I have no knowledge from the Michigan side of things on this front, just the Wheatley side.
Other than the fact that he's a cousin of Jesse Jackson, I have no special knowledge of Fred Jackson.
Wheatley Jr isn't coming here unless his dad is a coach. And the chances of his dad coming here are incredibly low.
Suffice to say, he probably won't be a part of this class.

I'm getting excited for this. Perfect song for those of you who are currently getting ready for the evening......
So when is Harbaugh going to sign that contract with the Raiders?

This is crazy. Everything is happening so fast. I hope we have a full recruiting class by the end of the week.
Sounds good to me. Sign him up right away.
