Woa.. he's got some crazy acceleration off the line for someone that height. Looks like he could be a nightmare for defenses! |

GR3 being higher is kind of a head scratcher to me. He still hasn't shown that he can create for himself and others or play defense, both of which Hardaway can do. Mcgary I can kind of understand even if I would have probably laughed at the idea of him going pro a month ago. They draft big guys crazy high for no reason all the time. |

Willie Henry really beasin it up out there. I remember being really impressed with his high school film too. Hopefully he can develop into something good. |

Damn.. almost forgot how much I love me some of that #2. Definately my favorite Wolverine of all time. Glad to see him at the game! |
| 6 weeks 2 days ago | Why do they always hammer |
Why do they always hammer endlessly on one call? What about them not calling tham bear hugging Burke on all the inbouds plays at the end of the game?
And it was a charge. Triche was out of control and even if Morgan was or moving sideways he was in legal guarding position. |

| 8 weeks 1 day ago | I guess I'm not too shocked |
I guess I'm not too shocked but I wonder if Minnesota would have the pull to lure away a up and coming coach that would make it worth it.
On paper Minnesota seemed talented, which is why a lot of people peged them as a sleeper in the big ten this year. But if you look deeper Mbakwe wasn't as productive as he was pre injury and couldn't play more than 20 minutes a game and they didn't have a true PG. Add to that Williams getting hurt off and on and they went on a skid in conference.
I was actually impressed with how they played in the tourney though. They crushed UCLA then ran into a Florida team that was making everything they threw up and getting rediculous help from the officials. They played at a high level, hung in there and kept making runs and cut it down to 6 or 8 points before Andre Hollins then Mbakwe both had to sit with 4 fouls. |

Oh God.... Early April Fools? Right? RIGHT!? |
| 9 weeks 5 days ago | Kinda strange the Patriots |
Kinda strange the Patriots wouldn't match the offer since it was only two million more than theirs? I think I remember early last year they were giving Edelman a lot of Welkers snaps until it became clear he wasn't able to handle that role. I think Amendola has potential to be like Welker when healthy but he just can't stay healthy. And Gronkowski and Hernandez are already made of glass. |

Always keep both your man and the ball in your vision and don't get caught watching. It's the first things they teach you in grade school basketball but It happens to all our guys more than it should. |
| 10 weeks 2 days ago | Kinda glad I missed the last |
Kinda glad I missed the last few miutes. I think I would have had an aneurysm from missed front ends on 1 and 1s and another no call intentional at the end of a game. |

I've been lurking forever. I remember coming for the UFRs even back in the Terry Malone/Jim Herrmann days and recruiting boards with Brandon Graham and co. Probably the 2005 season or earlier. |

Wow aren't the Yankees giving Cano a new contract in the next couple days? I wonder if this would change anything. |
| 11 weeks 5 hours ago | I looked up dani wohl to |
I looked up dani wohl to refresh my memory and was reminded how talented the 03-04 team seemed. BRJ, Horton, pre injurys Lester Abram, Graham Brown, Courtney Sims, Chris Hunter, young Dion Harris and Petway. Man, I remember that team like yesterday, sophmore year of HS, I just started driving, going to the UCLA game Christmas break, fun run through the NIT championship, high hopes for Michigan's return the years to come. Then Horton gets suspended Abrams gets injured and never comes back the same, Sims never really reaches his potential, Ron Colemen recruiting class and we struggle through mediocrity for 4 or 5 years more. |
| 11 weeks 1 day ago | I think Stauskas getting |
I think Stauskas getting pegged as our big weakness defensively is not really fair. He leads us in +/- average and has been in the positive in every game except for @OSU and @MSU In comparison Lavert in 20 games played has been in the negetive 5 times and zero 3 times |
| 11 weeks 1 day ago | Lets not get too carried |
Lets not get too carried away. Nik leads us in +/- average and has been in the positive in every game except for @OSU and @MSU Caris has struggled at times including the last game against Penn State (-7) and in 20 games played has been in the negetive 5 times and zero 3 times. |
| 11 weeks 2 days ago | No you are not alone there. |
No you are not alone there. Especially considering today PSU didn't even score the first 12 minutes of the game and barely managed to crack 40 after our idiotic D let them get 80+ *sob* |
| 11 weeks 5 days ago | Why were we hedging hard on |
Why were we hedging hard on ball screens when they killed us last game doing that? Did the coaches not watch tape of the last game? Ugh... |

Jesus minn keeps getting open 3s but can't hit a thing. |
| 12 weeks 2 days ago | That Ohio team was really |
That Ohio team was really good, a nightmare 13 seed. Thay were 27-6 and coming into the NCAA on a roll winning the MAC tournament. They ended up making the S16 and would have beat NC if they made one free throw with 10 seconds left.
They also matched up well against us having a guy that could shut down Novak and a PG that could match Burke. |
| 13 weeks 7 hours ago | We need to do a much better |
We need to do a much better job defending ball screens. Lately it seems like we are getting all discombobulated virtually every time. Losing the screener on cuts to the basket or letting the ball penetrate past the double team. We may need to change our philosophy because we had the same problem a lot last year. We also need to get more bodies crashing the defensive glass. |
| 13 weeks 2 days ago | I think Morgan and McGary had |
I think Morgan and McGary had about 4 rebounds and ZERO points along with 4 missed layups combined. wtf? |
| 13 weeks 5 days ago | Not sure Novak would have |
Not sure Novak would have helped much. Just seemed like one of those games tbh. Extremely young team on the road with short rest after a crushing loss.
MSU played out of their minds, shot the lights out, threw in some garbage shots while we couldn't hit anything. We turned it over a ton, they didn't (We need to stop having our bigs catch the ball at the top of the three point arc trying to make thread the needle cross court passes. Seemed like we had about 10 turnovers doing that) We clearly didn't match their intensity. There was a play early on where Hardaway had a chance to foul I think Valentine on breakaway and he just moved out of the way to let them get a uncontested layup. Right after that they clobber Morgan when he had an open look at the rim. I pretty much knew it was gonna be a rough game then.
But we are out of the brutal schedual stretch now and have a good chance to finish strong. |

The worst part was how enthusiastically the ref motioned it went off Stauskas leg when it never touched him. |

stupid stupid stupid stupid dumb. No reason we should have lost that game. Wisconsin honestly sickens me. I don't knw where they all their luck from. Dammit all to hell. |

My throat hurts from yelling so much. Great game though. |
| 15 weeks 1 hour ago | Not really surprised. I |
Not really surprised. I remember reading an article talking about how Peterman gave up 50+ qb pressures, which is an unheard of amount of for a guard. Vanden Bosch was one of the worst DEs in the league in pressures per rush or something and on top of that teams were able to single blocked him with a TEs more than anyone. |
| 15 weeks 2 days ago | Sounds like he took the free |
Sounds like he took the free points when the teams were lining up to shake hands. Crean looked back like wtf. lol |
| 15 weeks 4 days ago | Illinois had an inbounds |
Illinois had an inbounds almoast exactly like that the other day against sparty. Except it was even worse, like 10 feet wide of the guy. State also threw the ball right to an illinois player on the last inbounds under the basket and the guy just dropped it. |
| 16 weeks 1 day ago | One thing I noticed is |
One thing I noticed is Oladipo was the one that left Harris open on a lot of those 3s especially when they were in zone. He is a good on ball defender but he gets out of position quite a bit. |
