Although I don't have the problem others do with Addidas. My only issue is that it might mean losing out on basketball recruits. The tradeoff for lower student ticket prices, lower bottled water prices, and getting Harbaugh and Hackett is an awesome deal.
These need to be put in those types of terms when people complain.

I know the consensus, before he got here, was that he would take an medical redshirt right away, but the fact that Beilein allowed him one year to get on the court and make a basket, means he knew better than any of us.
It's awesome to have such a good basketball coach at Michigan, but it's even more amazing when you realize what a great human being we have coaching at Michigan.
|4 days 5 hours ago||Good Luck on all accounts||
I personally was set to go to State if I didn't get into Michigan and it'd be great if my kids could also attend Michigan, I'm not going to stress if they don't for a variety of reasons.
In regards to commuting, I fully understand the cost benefit with crazy tuition hikes, but I am very appriciative that it was affordable enough for me to live at college (I think my tuition and R&B were almost half the cost now and that is only 17 years). College is a very soft landing spot for transitioning to the real world and living on your own. It made my transition a lot easier having lived in dorms, to housing with friends, to my own apartment and own bills when I graduated.
Also, both my parents and my grandparents on one side were art majors of one kind or another and all were successful. HS Art teacher, inventor/ designers so don't fret too much.

I am going to enjoy Jordan as a coach while I can, because I have to believe he will be a successful head coach some day soon.
Bittersweet, I love to see the success of players as they leave early to the NBA, but miss seeing them in AA. This will be the same feeling with Jordan. Perhaps this will just eventually set him up as a replacment to Beilein after Beilein retires from his very successful tenure at Michigan and 2nd National Championship (hey, if I could dream of hoverboards in the 80s, I can believe this too).

all the athletes that do this. I think that there are actually a lot of M athletes that create these types of bonds with these kids. My wife works in Motts oncology and when we went to one of her patients cancer free celebrations, there was a reciever there who was good friends with the patients and family. I wish there were more reports and focus in the NCAA about these positive things rather than how many bagels can be served or athletes being jerks.

In inglorious bastards is an amazing scene. I really thought Tarantino did a great job with this film overall. I think in all of his films, some of the scenes are a little too Tarantino, but most of the time I enjoy his work.
I finally watched wolf of Wall Street and hated it. It actually felt like Scorsese was trying to emulate Tarantino but didn't do a good job of it. Which is probably ironic since I'm guessing Tarantino was aping Scorsese in some of his work.

I used to get sick on the airplane a lot as a kid (thank god the smoking is gone). One time I didn't have time to get some Dramamine, but my dad was big into the "it's all in your head" thing so my mom stuck me next to him. After a full plate of spaghetti for in flight meal, it came all out. I'm sure it was horrible for the rest of the passengers.

My wife and I bought an iBook laptop 5 years ago and I still struggle with it as I have always used pcs. It sounds like things have changed greatly as late 90s early 2000s everyone used the PCs over macs, especially on north campus where hundreds of macs stood idle.
My first time on the Internet was senior year in high school in 98. Someone logged me on and I didn't know how it worked so didn't do anything. I was really suprised in my freshman year when I was the only one in one of my discussions who hadn't been on the Internet. Luckily I've never had to deal with dial up because all the dorms had something else (can't remember name) that was fast.

Not guilty does not mean innocent. It mearly means that a jury of your peers or judge does not have enough evidence or has enough reasonable doubt to provide a not guilty plea.
This can be a result of a lot of things, such as damning evidence that is thrown out due to how it was obtained.
If someone commits murder, and is found not guilty in court, it does not mean that they are innocent.
|2 weeks 6 days ago||Great analysis||
This was well layed out explanation as I followed about 90% of what you stated. The maps and visuals help a lot. It will be interesting to see the starting 5 OL next year work in unison. They are going to have to be a strength as the skill positions get set.
|3 weeks 9 hours ago||Yeah.||
Whitfield came over from the track team and is only 5'4". Small backs that are very fast can be effective if they can hide behind offensive lineman and hit holes quickly. They also can be hard to get a good hit on. He has to have very good burst, vision, and balance, but he can be a decent role player. I know LSU had a tiny player that was very fast that got a whole lot of yards.
|3 weeks 9 hours ago||Ok. Thanks||
I missed what you were going for. That makes sense about all around. Smith definitely does not have the speed to attack the edge. I really hope Isaac has some speed and moves. Don't know a lot about him, but his running style seemed upright in his USC highlights, which doesn't seem good for power up the middle. I'm really suprised that Michigan hasn't been able to find their guy yet. It has been a long time since Michigan had an above average BIG back.
|3 weeks 10 hours ago||In regards to green||
I really hope he is not our best back. I know some are high on him, but I have seen very little to make him even an average back in the BIG. His speed is just ok, and I've yet to see a modicum of power that should come with his size. His balance just doesn't seem that good and his reads are only so so. His high school tape was a lot of outrunning players to the edge, which is where he picked up some of his big gains last year.
I know the offensive line plays a role, but he's had his times into the LBs and secondary and I haven't seen the moves, power, or speed that I'd expect from a top running back. Really hope Johnson comes back or they use the little track star who may find success by staying low and using his speed to hit holes.

there was something appealing about peeing on the wall in the old bathrooms. When the whole wall was a urinal, the waits seemed pretty small for the mens. I am guessing the women were very happy about the renovation.

but the press box itself was a major eyesore. It looked cheap in comparison to everything else.

Had season tickets from 98-02 and just loved the atmosphere. When they put the second level above in 03, I sat at the top of the lower bleachers and was suprised how quiet is was. Now when I go back, everything seems so stale and clean. Its weird to see people attend games now who have no intention of watching as they sit in big comfy chairs. There is really no need to have more than score, time, shots, and penalty minutes on a scoreboard, so all the new score board is used for is to distract with ads and dumb games.
Still a fun time, but the magic is gone. Or maybe I'm just now old, and attending games as a student just can't be replicated.

reminds me of the halo on the big house.
Also, with the sleeves so short, I really don't think there is anything more necessary than just the number on the shoulder.

is sublte, but gives dimension to the numbers. Also, as you stated, like Lebowski's rug, it really ties things together.

This would also prevent both programs from using that game to do a unique design for that one game. Brings nice nestalgia to me.
