I am 6'1" and I remember being pleased with how roomy the XL Twin was compared to the regular Twin I had at home. I also remember seeing guys like Trezelle Jenkins and Juwan Howard in person and wondering how they slept in dorm beds. I guess they curl up.
He said that he would reveal more about his departure later. I suppose he's too busy with the snowplowing business.
I know it wasn't Boren who said it, but some former OSU player was barbering on about how great Boren was going to be for OSU and extolled his physical prowess and "1% bodyfat." Ha ha ha.
BTW there is a puff piece out there featuring Zach Boren saying this: "Coach Meyer maintains a family atmosphere during practice and he and my family blend together because they preach the same thing."
Claude Cattermole "Catsmeat" Potter-Pirbright, Augustus Fink-Nottle, Barmy Fotheringay-Phipps, Algernon Wymondham-Wymondham, and Cyril Bassington-Bassington
Theoretically this allowed me to focus on my studies during the school year, though my grades didn't reflect that. I think about how much time I wasted during undergrad years. And that was without the internet! I'd flunk out today I think.
I had enough money to do some fun things but not enough to go crazy. My first girlfriend lived in a Tower Plaza condo that her parents had bought. She referred to the Comerica ATM as a "money machine" and I think the word choice was relevant - that was how she thought of it. Spending was a source of tension between us.
A girl I dated later was an EMU student and to her I was rich. We were both a bit more frugal.
My parents saved and paid my out of state tuition, and since they were both UM grads and raised me to think that UM=college, that was very stand-up of them. I wonder what it will be like when my kids go off to school, because by the time my first grader goes, UM's out of state tuition might be $100k/year. I loved my time at UM but there's no way that's worth it. It will be scholarship or go somewhere else.
but I don't recall Wagner shoving or elbowing people. I've seen him commit ill-advised over the back fouls and I've seen refs call fouls on his belly. He commits fouls out of zeal but I don't think out of malice or harmful recklessness. I don't see Patrick Beverly, Zaza Pachulia, Matthew Dellavedova, JR Smith, or Bill Laimbeer in his game.
Please tell me if I'm wrong. I suppose there are Duke fans who think Grayson Allen is a misunderstood saint.
Nick Ward and Tom Izzo dragging Mo into the mud when they're the ones being assholes is pretty rich.
These were rare opportunites because DDC was so successful at sports, but the headline writers seized them when they were available, e.g. "St. Mary abuses Divine Child."
I'll believe in Izzo's downfall when I see it. He is Rasputin without the swell beard. He's the best thing MSU has going and they aren't going to let go of him without a fight.
our biggest rival does sign top 10 classes year after year, and so do the teams who are legit contenders for national titles. It feels like a remote possibility that we will ever be that.
The red C is dull as toast, that's true. I have bought some Indians gear recently but avoided the chief on principle. This is a gradual phase-out. People will still wear it, but I'm glad they won't produce any more.
If they ditch the team name they should resurrect Spiders. The tough part is that the final Spiders team (1899) was historically bad, having been gutted by their owners when they moved all the good players to their other NL team, the St. Louis Browns.
They could do all kinds of fun marketing with Spider mascots. And I can't think of any other teams with that mascot except the University of Richmond, so there wouldn't be any confusion.
I can guess the meaning from context, but I was wondering if I had missed some neologism that was taking the board by storm. I Googled it and the only result was this page, with some users' avatars as the image responses. A completely new word? Whatever it means, I like it.
They were almost always terrible before Guevara came along. She got them to pretty good but then fell apart at the end. That was followed by several years in the wilderness. KBA has done very well, some big wins here and there and her worst season was 20-15, which would have been among the best for any of Michigan's previous head coaches. I hope she can keep it going.
Not much success against a generally strong Michigan State program.
The Big Ten is so undistinguished at women's hoops that you have to be at the top to even make the NCAA tournament, e.g. last year we finished 3rd but still ended up in the NIT.
for the number of games in which he and his team are caught unaware by Purdue's aggression. Giving up 48 points in 2008 when trying to install a new defense in a week, giving up 28 in the second half the next year and getting punked by Danny Hope and his handshaking pugilist lineman the next year, now this. Preparation and situational awareness: D.
without sound, so I didn't get the back story. During games I exchange texts with two buddies from MoJo days and asked them "who is the 80s movie villain on the Purdue sideline?"
Michigan is unstoppable at Samuel's birthday parties. He is nine and I have watched Michigan beat Notre Dame twice (both Rich Rod wins) and the Colorado and Purdue games from the past two seasons. Those first two were particularly delicious given the bevy of Catholic OSU fans and one now-BIL who's a Notre Dame fan in attendance.

Classes only Mon-Thurs, so I had Friday Saturday Sunday every week to do nothing, and my grades show that I succeeded.
MSU is having one of those years.
That is tremendous. Tom's position and facial expression afterwards rival even the Shon Morris interview pic.
And yes I sure wish he had done that to Izzo. It might have topped Tim Hardaway Jr trying to join in on the Izzo-Appling conversation in 2013.
you guys called them Joeys.

You guys have gone so respectable in recent years.
Seriously, that seems like a really long time to make the Cube inaccessible. I hope the results are worth it.
actually happened during the Saturday show. Plus I was hooked into the face vs heel dynamic, which I attribute to my being 12 years old at the time.

not turning into bugs.
Shot well after the film was, and included on the DVD. Mandy Patinkin in particular said some very poignant things about Andre.

Apparently holding people you like accountable for misdeeds is more difficult.
I think there are many others.

Fredo strikes again. But your response has terrific ambiguity.

If I had to pick a Michigan-related hill to die on, the one in Wurster Park is nice.

Five guys out of 27 that had good to very good Michigan careers:
Gardner
Black
Dileo
Ryan
Hagerup
A whole lotta outbound transfers or "quit football"s plus what I assume is a record number of guys who never played in a game for Michigan.
since Kyle Grady is already a post-doc fellow in Language and Literature at Michigan.

KBA raised the bar but they hadn't entered the national picture before. So happy for them. Team is fun to watch too with the inside-outside movement.

Mind blown.
Try not to be so negative, NTB.

Rich Rodriguez, Lane Kiffin, Gary Barnett, Andy Moeller, Mike Debord, Hugh Freeze, Mike Locksley, Mark Mangino...are those guys offensive enough?
