BIG10 is a hockey / wrestling conference as well as football.  I know alot of wrestlers are 2 sport athletes in combinaiton w/football, but I would say some of them go on a wrestling scholarship & become 1 sport athletes in college. Training is probably way more intense doing those 2 than playing basketball / football.
1 year 24 weeks ago	Florida	I think it's funny to say down here in Florida where I live that the ENTIRE state of Florida is IRRELEVENT in the landscape of college football this year, with the exception of FSU barely cracking the top 25 in the AP poll as of last week. It burns them to hear that. NO Florida team shows up in the BCS Standings. SEC has 2 DOMINANT teams & one or 2 good teams (UGA & ARK). Really, the rest is garbage. You can say this almost every year too. Sure, the SEC has produced the National Champion every year the past 5-6 yrs, but they are top heavy. You CANNOT tell me that teams like Vandy or Tenn or even Florida this year are bad because of the "RIGORS OF THE SEC" as they so often throw that phrase out. Fact is those teams just SUCK & they would suck in ANY conference you put them in.  LSU & ALA are WAY beyond anything any other conference could throw out there, but aside from that, the rest of that conference would NOT finish above UM, OSU, Wisky or MSU in the Big10 & probably fair the same if not worse in the Pac12.  SOOOO Sick of hearing how EVERY team down there would win in any conference & the reason a team goes 3-9 is because the "COMPETITION IS SO FIERCE IN THE SOUTH" That, my friend, is BS.

1 year 25 weeks ago	That	Boren comes from a family of traitors, so anything he says is irrelevent. OSU got so comfortable & confident that they forgot how bad it stings to lose to us. As we have felt an enormous cloud lifted from the past 7 yrs, it was only inevitable that the relief this game gave the players & the fans that celebrations were gonna happen. As far as the handshaking matter, it's OSU, no love lost.
2 years 23 weeks ago	Florida	I don't know if I agree w/that context. I actually heard it tho yesterday on either Cowherd, or Scott Van Pelt or one of those. What I hear (Being a Jacksonville, FL resident & having access to local beat writers) is that Florida only goes for the 5-star recruits. They recruit "athletes" not "football players."  Tebow, Spikes, etc. were "football players" Some of these jokers on the roster now are "athletes" and have character issues. They don't translate into NCAA football players very well. So yeah, they are getting burned now by recruiting only the fastest 40 times instead of football prowless. They are currently 8th overall in recruiting, and expected to drop with the uncertainty of the HC position. That's a far cry from the repeated #1 Recruting Classes they've mustered up lately. Urban was hung up on getting the big star athletes, not so much the smart ones who know X's & O's...

And that's my stompin' ground as i work a block from Lomax, so if anyone is down for some Oberon and good hip hop (not radio shit) get at me & we'll make it happen the friday before the game!

It would have to be for the right person(s) as I have small children. Probably no more than 2 people. But...it would be alot cheaper than a hotel, that's for sure!

2 years 23 weeks ago	jax	I've lived here 4 yrs. It's so easy really. I-95 is your main North / South road. Then every other road runs mostly East / West...if you go too far East, you'll end up in the ocean & if you're downtown, you won't wanna go west because you're going the opposite direction of the stadium, it's really not that bad.
