Update: I just received an email that admissions are willing to allow a one time exception to the one deferral policy so I will be able to defer to next summer and have full value of the emba experience next year.
thank you if it is because of some random UM admin person who happened to read this and thought that sucks, if not, fortuitous.
I was also accepted into the Ross eMBA last year. After paying my $5000 enrollment deposit, I deferred to this year because my life circumstances were going through some significant changes. I was supposed to start this year. I can't recall if it was May or June, but they called saying they need a final decision if I plan on attending and that I could not defer. I had to give up my $5000 enrollment deposit because I don't want to remotely attend an executive MBA. The great majority of the value in a program like that is the networking and the connections.
I think a lot of the comments here are not necessarily realizing this is an executive MBA, not a traditional MBA. This is designed for later career folks, not people that need to start it and get it done to move on to career experience.
The executive MBA is the program where you show up and live in the Ross exec residences for a weekend+ a month with each other.
This is the first time I've wanted to watch an opponents post-game conference. Part of me feels a little bad because he seems on the edge of angry crying.
ygritte has already said " you know nothing Jon snow" in the show as well.
stop trying to read so much into a quote that you turn it into a nonexistent spoiler
I'm just one of those annoying people that moved to Pinckney for the chain of lakes, sailing and windsurfing out my backyard while working in Ann Arbor? Heaven.
I scalped utl 1 and ended up getting a 40 yard line row 50ish seat for $100. About ten minutes before kickoff. I had given up hope of finding a ticket for less than $200 and was on my way downtown to watch at a bar and found the holy grail ticket near the northwest gate.
ugh I'm already over the MGoHill apparently. My coworker here in the lab is an MGoUser, and a few random friends like Corey and T. We're an interesting and varied bunch. This is still one of my favorite lines Brian has written:
From the world cup 2010 era
"Soccer defies that. It is opera on a field. Not the Italian variety where a series of humorous misunderstandings yield mildly sexy results, but German opera—Klingon opera. Plenty of tridents. Sheets of rain. Thunderbolts cascading from the sky. In the background armies march through the mud, toward each other. Patterns converge in a rumble, pressure building until it's unbearable and someone falls over, a spear jutting out from his breastplate."
The iodine didn't taste bad but as far as tablets go I prefer chlorine but they take longer. The nastiness was the water. I tried to get as much crap out of it as I could using my shirt as a filter but it still was terrible. So terrible even The Thirst couldn't cover it up lol.
I miss that island, must go up there for my yearly trip soon.
The east side isn't always windward. Just be happy you weren't there when the biting black flies were. That was the most miserable I've ever been. I had The Thirst and climbed down a bluff to get to the lake and it was a little area where nasty dead fish collected and it was black fly city. North side of the island. Poor life choices. When you get The Thirst though you cannot understand that it is a poor life choice. The biting black flies got infinitely worse once I waded out into the lake to filter some water. They'd coat any part of me that had been touched by the water. Also, the crap in the water kept clogging my filter so I had to resort to iodine tablets (so disgustinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng) I then climbed back up the bluff and realized the bluff was covered in wild strawberries. So delicious!
Other than that: Protip: Thermacell butane powered bug repellent thingy works miracles. Also treat some clothes with Permethrin ahead of time, also works miracles.
Second protip: Grab a delicious sandwich at the shack in Leland and bring it to the island. You'll cherish that last meal of real food.
Third protip: Grab some smoked whitefish from another one of those shacks in Leland. Oh my god smoky divine fish heaven.
-hopefully a flight lesson saturday, working on my private pilots license out of A2 airport.
-love backpacking. It centers my soul.
-yes, friends and coworkers
-with fontina, smoked mozz, and a little shaved parm.
I went to a game up there, and for like 8 or 9 dollars I got a freshly carved herbed roast beef sandwich. They had stadium crap too, but for like a couple dollars more than stadium crap I got a top tier sandwich.
Ive been to Columbus a few times on that fateful weekend, but not to the game. The national championship ballroom competition is there that weekend and i cheered for and eventually competed for UM. I was there the day of the 'game of the century' and while we lost the game by 3... we won the natl championship in ballroom.
I experienced last years win front row student section next to lloyd brady. It was an amazing experience. I want to go down to that craphole of a city and finally see a game with the worst fanbase out there. Plus if they vandalize my car its destruction of federal property and its surrounded by cameras (research car) lol

I had to follow the link to Dawkins'. Best on our team _ Dunking _ . I can't lie, I do enjoy his over-the-top dunk-fails unless we lose the game.
Baller takes
Ball so hard.
Baller takes ball to the balls and bawls.
Balls don't lie.

Well now I need to make a post because I can't remember when I made the account. I am also too lazy to just look. Haloscan uber alles.

Honestly though, North Manitou is simply amazing.
Trey Burke is FLOOR SLAPPING GOOD.
The AD's response: Just upgrade to the Roth club.

MGoBestclass you mean.
It was well wrapped in a thick plastic mailer, rain shouldn't hurt it.
Good point, fixed
